I know it’s easy to call out the manager but he seems to make so many decisions that can make you go right off him. 1) Ricardo was identified by Enzo as one of our most important and technically competent players - Cooper benches him 2) Soumare and Hamza on the bench but no Alves when we’ve had a week with Buonanotte and no other AM’s in the 18. 3) The Okoli signing when can’t dislodge Jannik seems even more random.

I hate to sound like a broken record but it’s simple, our players are on inflated wages. Mount was on relatively low wages at Chelsea (a theme with the majority of their academy minus Hudson-Odoi). I’m also going to predict that Toney’s wages are less than that of Daka/Soumare etc too.

Seeing this change to Tier 1 without reading the posts has ruined my day and we’ve not even lost at home tonight yet 👀

Refreshing our coaching team was actually a smart move by Enzo. KDH had to leave for PSR reasons so think your anger at Enzo is misguided and should be at the 5hit show of a club/board.

Wilf can barely run anymore. He‘s gone from a destroyer with extending legs to someone who struggles to get around the pitch. In his credit, he scored a couple of important goals from his return from injury but his all round game since his return was average at best.

That’s how I felt about Okoli so totally understand that sentiment mate. It’s painfully obvious how the window is going to pan out isn’t it? We’ll pick up Fofana (not little Wes) on loan from Chelsea as we lack such creativity as a club. Raid the Championship would have been my model but we appear to be too arrogant to do such a thing.

Reading some of the comments about Cooper’s appearance are stupid AF. But I just can’t get excited at all about Cooper, once again my disdain for Rudkin/Top winds me up….our obsession with having failed managers from England is so archaic. Brighton taking a punt on Huerzeler is a prime example of showing a level of imagination that our board clearly lack….I have zero interest in this season and all parties have played a part in that…rant over.

I was thinking this….how often does the price quoted by any source ever turn out to be accurate? Skipp is a decent PL midfielder and we could do a lot worse and if this was being touted along with a couple of attacking additions that improved our starting 11 surely most would take that??

I came on to post almost exactly the same thing mate. He makes our starting 11 and if it means that Bouba is out of the door then that’s a positive step. My frustration at the club remains though….Skipp ok but WHY renew Hamza and Wilf? Neither are where we want to be in 2024 and beyond….Hamza’s new deal actually grates on me so much.

Are we pretending that his loan to Preston in the Championship didn’t happen? I agree that Cannon probably would be loaned out in ideal circumstances but suggesting he should go on loan to League One is just madness.

Good shout to be fair mate but maybe should have phrased it as it is a bigger gamble for how he settles/adapts to English football. Appreciate the correction though bud.

I hope that I’m wrong it just feels very off doesn’t it? I actually like the loan signing process as won’t lumber us with more Bouba’s etc. If I am right (genuinely hope that I’m not) it makes the sponsorship deal even more diabolical too.
