You want to laugh at this post but it’s such a sad yet true state of affairs. Even Rodgers when wasn’t a complete mug used to rotate more than Enzo has recently which is a hideous comparison to make.

Seeing Ricky back on the bench is so comforting just hope he has his minutes managed and not needed today.

The power of a player not playing week in/week out for us strikes again. Whilst he was a better version under Smith than he was Rodgers…it’s worth noting the bar was so low it wasn’t the biggest ask. He’s a CM who lacks any positional awareness and the videos (on social media for his fans) where he lets multiple players ghost past him without breaking out of a jog are unacceptable for a CM at Sunday league level let alone what we aspire for. If loaning him out again to reduce our wage bill/not make a loss then so be it.

As others have said, regardless of FFP related issues. Enzo with this squad at his disposal not getting promotion would surely be deemed a failure. As for someone asking what they’d like from our next manager (which is crazy to even consider but I’ll entertain the question) 1) In game management that actually sees our manager positively influence game, has Enzo done that once this season? 2) Anyone who isn’t Rodgers (I will never excuse him for the mess he was at the heart of) 3) Someone who wants to be here and is a builder with a short and long term plan

Spot on mate. Comparing our recruitment to Brighton’s is beyond deluded. They sign players based on various stats and bar Pedro (who’s turned out pretty decent) were all picked up for peanuts. We sign Soumare and offer him a HUGE wedge thus unable to shift him (rinse and repeat for a high % of signings since winning the league).

A self imposed FT ban is coming I reckon. Such little to be optimistic about when look at our form/off field murmurs and an inexperienced manager at the helm, who hasn’t shown any flexibility when it’s most needed.

To be fair that’s possibly the best reply that I’ve seen for a while to a differing opinion. I still worry about any of our existing CB’s in a higher league bar Nelson for potential but I am on a downer towards all thing Leicester recently so might be writing off Jannik based on this seasons form - my worry will always remain with how good a defender he actually is.

Well for starters Bournemouth were resting Solanke who is their best and only properly recognised striker. Bournemouth’s form before going into our match was horrendous. Even Jannik’s biggest fans surely could see that his limitations were on full show today (1st goal and Doyle sending off) as two prime examples.

Him overplaying at the back could have been costly again then. I’m actually sick of seeing him in a Leicester shirt. Whatever league we’re in next season, I hope he isn’t with us. Not quick, not a leader/organiser, average at best on the ball and not a very good “traditional” defender! Move him on please.

A billion pound squad that have been underwhelming this season. The future of Poch has been mooted on/off for months. I’ve stayed away from FT the last few days but the negativity on here is a fair assessment on our awful form/same insane mistakes….we’re so easy to play against right now, so open.

If not a poundland Cags at least an Aldi version? I can’t say how much I hate Rodgers….imagine Cags playing for us this season? He would be the best CB in the league by a country mile.

Can anyone that refers to Faes as the quick/athletic CB please stop. He is obviously not Vesty slow (who is) but he’s NOT quick enough to justify his place when he seems to consistently have rash moments especially when the pressure appears to be on.

The timing of the signing seemed off though. Enzo didn’t even have a chance to look at our ball playing CB’s in pre season before signing Coady did he?

Whilst I’m not disputing what you say, I do get confused that pretty much ALL season, it’s been highlighted that Enzo (like a lot of modern managers) is more of a system manager than personnel. With Enzo’s system clearly inflating our wingers numbers to the detriment of the CF….with that in mind and us winning 26 matches in the league surely that means we should have greater expectations on said wingers?

Are people still saying comparisons to Gray are OTT?

So many of our “starting 11” are all playing well below their previous standards. If the players are that tired Enzo, keeping someone like Mavs on when Wanya looked decent against Bournemouth is amateurish or ignorance.

Minus his performance at Leeds this has been the norm all month.

Faes during his time here has been average at best. One of the most weak minded CB’s that I can remember in a long time. Watch him when we ever we concede….he epitomizes our midget mentally issue for me.

Odd take about VAR - surely you’d appreciate that VAR would have given us a penalty against you lot in our first game? Not calling you out but VAR would have altered a fair few of our outcomes too so hate the old adage but it surely evens itself out?

I think it’s a really good discussion to bring out as I’ve been overly critical about his one footedness. However, the comparison with Madders using his right foot more whilst has truth in it is also either giving KDH too much credit or discrediting Maddison. Madders definitely used BOTH feet to do the simple things and as others have pointed out he even scored a couple with his left…KDH on the other hand when has the ball on his right has the one option of swiveling to get it back on his left hence the frustration, it’s almost too easy to defend as so one dimensional/predictable.

Another 3/10 performance from Stephy. I know that wingers are hot and cold but he’s been so bad recently.
