As to a 37 year old Vardy who was blowing? Yes, yes I do! Would have preferred for Cannon to have come on though as he might have held the ball up and he can also press but that doesn’t fit with your question 😜
-
What I loved about both (first clearance is even more obvious) Hamza busts a gut to get back into position. That happens because he’s not overplayed and leggy.
-
I actually agree with Enzo’s previous comments about not being able to play more than one in Vesty, Coady and Doyle due to their lack of pace. Coady is clearly more vocal than the rest, pretty sure there was a Cruyff turn in there as well. However, Jannik and him together in a three is too easy to play through IMO. Definitely makes you think that Vesty should leave in the Summer and Coady will be here as a squad player next season.

Enzo’s hatred for the chaotic “basketball match” was very interesting. I actually agree that we didn’t take the sting out of the match enough with us not having enough possession but loved seeing Coady ping a 40/50 yard ball for Vardy to rush onto etc. The obsession with the inverted FB winds me up at the best of times BUT my biggest pet hate is how Enzo can’t admit it’s being targeted throughout the game and just ask Hamza/Ricky to play the more traditional FB position for a period of time to calm things down. Surely those type of tweaks 1) don’t go against his principles and 2) actually reduce the basketball style football that he (like Rodgers previously) hate with a passion.
-
I questioned his performances a couple of weeks ago and was met with “Winks isn’t our problem”. He hasn’t been offering an outlet for us to keep the ball, he is physically weak and often gets run past too easily when we’re up against it. I’m not anti Winks at all but if we do get promoted, we would definitely need someone next to him….NOT THE INVERTED FB either.
-
His lack of acknowledgment what is happening on the pitch in front of him really winds me up. Vardy/KDH were clearly blowing but just allows them to get overrun.
-
Enzo not making changes when the momentum is going against us is criminal.

I hope you’re right mate. I would love Leicester to put a dampener on my weekend like they seem to have done more often than not over the past couple of months.
-
Anyone else annoyed (again) about Enzo saying Ricky might be out today because of the amount of games played? Enzo was the smart one to play him in all 3 games in a week 🤬
-
Ricky did but he was always out stretching so a half chance is being generous. We looked more urgent until they scored but then went back to the passive/passing in our own half nonsense that allows the opposition to get into shape for the other 70 minutes. Just reading that back, I honestly have zero excitement and almost an acceptance of another limp performance.

I have zero confidence in this one BUT can’t say that I have any idea how WBA will set up shop. Checking the odds this morning and seeing a WBA win at 5/1 seems off considering our awful form.

Case number 101 that Rudkin is an inept clown. Or can that not be muttered on here as I don’t have his exact job spec to hand? 👀

You could argue the players have played like they’re already on the beach 👀 Might explain Daka’s finishing that he’s been wearing flip flops.

Another great episode lads. The timing of it after Leeds’ defeat was perfect timing. I’ve definitely mellowed since their and Ipswich’s results but my faith in “the system” still is at an all time low. Thanks @Ric Flair -
Enzo Out? Time for an official thread/poll
SafewayFox replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
Is this poll ridiculous? 100% He’s not getting sacked this season but his very alarming flaws are there for all to see. So rather than some of the righteous posts about “our entitlement”, “stop watching City and support Liverpool etc” are really sad to see. We all see football differently, my current view is that Enzo is not the right fit for us as a club whether that’s his one dimensional tactics, stubbornness to use his squad (which at this level is concerning). -
In 2024, as others have said he’s not the answer (as a starter). However, imagine against Plymouth as an example when they had zero interest at attacking us, with 20 minutes to go Enzo brought him on? 1) Enzo moaned about tiredness yet left Stephy on for 90 minutes (again) who was hardly pulling up trees. 2) I have much more faith in him delivering balls into the box than both our wingers and who knows if he might have had one of our many corners in the last few minutes, that he could actually deliver one that’s better than 2/10 (fails to beat the first man or just gently lofted aimlessly into the 6 yard box) 3) For @Guest benefit, he always offers a solid 7/10 😉

I normally really like your posts mate but you really haven’t read the room have you? The fact it’s his first full season is probably why he has shit the bed and we’ve lost 6 of the last 10 games but should we be less expecting because of his rookie status? Your argument was exactly what the Rodgers fans said numerous times yet now history is not so kind to him. Whether it’s recency bias or the huge concerns of his comments about tiredness but only using 14 players of his squad, his continued picking of Daka/Faes….I don’t think it’s insufferable to be worried about the mess that awaits us if we don’t get promoted - something all the above is looking like a maybe rather than nearly a guarantee only two months back. -
Three passes from a long goal kick? Enzo….please take note about different ways to get the ball forward.
-
Attacking subs? Sorry Farke, that’s not allowed mate.
-
The biggest difference between us and Leeds even during this pressured run in….they still break the lines/attack in minimal passes, we take an eternity to work our way up the pitch.
-
**12 hours later** Faes was a twat last night to me. He’s still a twat. Players like him make me so angry, technically tidy enough but when it comes to his day job (keep the ball out of the net) he has been culpable for numerous goals, his attitude stinks and I genuinely can’t wait to see the back of him and his floppy hair.

@Ric Flair We need a new episode to keep us sane mate. One planned for the weekend? -
I can’t wait for Enzo and his annoying twat of a friend to leave. Those players wouldn’t be tired if his best mate actually rotated his players, like he did at the beginning of the season when actually winning games 🤬
-
I wish that I could get through this anger stage but royally in the middle of it. I think it’s the reality of what punishment, fire sale (won’t miss 90% of the squad) will see us languishing in the football league for decades. Not scoring and losing our last three away games is a sackable offence surely?
-
How many errors has this clown made that ultimately resulted in points dropped this season? Sky replaying their goal winds me up even more….the twat is normally aggressive in his tackling (one of his more redeeming qualities if done in the right moments) but he just backs off, turns his back and dangles out a leg. I said it at the time and even when less heated, one of my most hated players to wear our kit.
