Surprised more haven’t commented on how poor he was last night? I don’t actually know what he’s offering at the moment. He’s not playing those quick balls forward to break the lines, defensively he offers very minimal protection and a big part of why we consistently concede (not as guilty as Faes for that but worth noting IMO).

I can’t remember a time where I woke up this angry the next day after a game. If I rated Enzo solely on last nights showing he would get a minus rating.

Faes bringing the ball forward has created how many chances in recent games? Yet his casualness on the ball must have led to at least 3 goals in the last month alone, it’s so infuriating mate. I wasn’t sure either way on Enzo but firmly in the Enzo out now camp due to his arrogance/naivety.

It’s lazy of me to say one reason Faes but I’m here for it. He doesn’t defend as a team as how many times has he switched off, done something lazy yet still trusted by Enzo. Considering Enzo doesn’t trust certain players in the squad, his unwavering trust in Faes is criminal.

I woke up actually angrier thinking about Enzo and our many current faults. How he has yes men around him and not one experienced coach is coming home to roost.

What a great idea, instead of having two natural FB’s in Ricky P/JJ offer an overload/width let’s get a lazy, incompetent CB in Faes to give the ball away instead? I’m sorry mate but it’s painfully obvious that our current plan is to get the ball to Stephy/Abdul (not even quickly) and see if they can trouble their FB from a standing position and hope something comes off. At least if we regularly offered an overload (rotate which side during the game for all I care) at times, we might actually see something that isn’t this possession for possessions sake football.

So let me spell out Enzo logic. Faes is our only “not extremely slow CB” and why he starts every game. Yet, what help is that when the clown loosely gives up possession half way up the pitch thus exposing our lack of pace in the back line for quick counters? Madness, get him out of my club this summer regardless of what league we’re in.

No changes tonight means he’ll play the same tired/passive 11 with Fatawu, sadly probably Daka too as the only changes. I have to laugh or will cry.

It’s inexcusable how he clearly closes his eyes when he jumps up for a header. Something you’d be angry if a striker at u10’s did let alone a striker we paid over 20m for 🤯

I really have gone off the guy, his stubbornness, his annoying little cheerleader (Balague) and how I can’t shake that a more seasoned manager would know when tactical tweaks are needed. How many games have we now churned out like tonight?

Playing KDH/Ndidi on the wrong side of CM, Faes continuing to play when we have a leader on the bench in Coady again giving the ball away and being hit on the transition. This is on Enzo.

Enzo can take his principles and run back to Pep. I think this is the moment that I’m done with him. The commentators keep talking about a Leicester onslaught…..have they not seen us all season? Like for like changes and 2/3 subs will be off in 5 games such an annoying, arrogant man our manager is.

Totally agree mate but is it not an exact replica of QPR? Bristol City we were passive but Vardy at least has those chances. Hated this game of football so much.

What I hate about Enzo ball other than the passive 5hit is how rigid it is. The pitch is so congested in the middle so he insists with Ricky P inverting, get JJ on and play with the FB’s actually over lapping the wingers FFS.

Our one decent chance was when KDH played in Stephy with a trampoline touch. What was different between that and everything else in the first half? KDH found himself on the left side of the pitch. Even if no subs at HT, Enzo PLEASE swap Ndidi and KDH, I have no idea what makes any manager think inverted CM’s is a good thing? 🤯

Ricky P/Ndidi missing 5 games because pick up an injury is a bigger risk for me. I guess we all have to trust Enzo/the players know their own bodies and the medical team doing their due diligence.

I’d love an early goal so much at their place. Let’s make it toxic for them and hopefully our style of pragmatic football is actually beneficial with them losing shape/their heads, probably a pipe dream but would love nothing more than a comfortable 2-0 lead within 20.

All I ask for is a genuine bit of competition for both Stephy and Fatawu. Albrighton clearly won’t be here and Wanya needs a season out on loan so a couple of loanees (Hutchinson springs to mind) would be ideal IMO.

I actually agree with the majority of your points except the highlighted one. Leeds and Ipswich have played poorly a lot and picked up points so can’t fault their style too much. Our passive football also allows teams to get back into defensive positions easier than against Leeds/Ipswich so a bit of a moot point re: massed defence.

I can see a few changes with Enzo being hailed if comes off or criticised if doesn’t. I’d personally wrap Ricky P in cotton wool and wouldn’t start him on Tuesday night.
