2 games ago we all said his lineup was total shit. And we won. We were wrong. 1 game ago we all said stick with it. And we lost. We were wrong. Today we are all thinking that this lineup is a load of shit.... You can see where I'm going here? That's right. Fxxking nowhere. Like us.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

You won't be calling it crappy when we're 3-0 up! -
It's about £20mill short of being that bad...
-
You guys aren't seeing the bigger picture here. If Thomas puts in a goods performance tonight then we might be able to get an offer for him in the summer to the tune of about €5mill. It's all about creating opportunity.
-
Speaking in his pre-match press conference on Thursday morning, he said: “It’s a great opportunity for younger players. (Jeremy) Monga and (Jake) Evans will be on the bench tomorrow. "This club is a great pathway for young talents to get first-team training and first-team games. Not many clubs can offer that.”

Can Coady cancel his contract as well? Please...

I find this offensive.

I think Ruud will go as full strength as he can here. A lot of you are thinking of this as a bit of a free hit, try new formations, new players etc. But rightly or wrongly, Ruud will be thinking of himself here. Man Utd are currently going backwards under Amorim, their best period this season came under Ruud. Largely at our expense. His thinking will be that if he can get the better of Amorim here then if Ineos pull the plug on his appointment then Ruud might get another shot at the job, at least in the short term, either during this season or in the summer. That might be flawed thinking, or it may be pretty logical. It's certainly not outside the realms of possibility.

Surely Ruud-kin works? -

It's not really though is it? It's to aid the prehistoric eye test bullshit. Otherwise there'd be no point scouting, you could just use a stat sheet. -

Erm, you're aware Buonanotte also scored against Saints in that game too though yeah? -
Nobody. WE slapped a €20mill price tag on him. There's no money to take. No. ...apparently not....
-
Mads. That's it.
-
Let's hope they still want him in the summer, whatever division we're both in.
-
Yeah, there's worry about Seagrave and losing the likes of Nyoni and Monga, but when we're actually offered bags for the ones who don't make it, for our level at least, you should snap their hands, arms whatever body part is on offer to make bank. I think I'm more disappointed in the sales we haven't made than the non existent transfers in in this window.
-
If be interesting to know what they were aiming to offer. If it were 50p and a cheese cob, you can't really blame them for not striking up a deal. It'd need to at least be 2 cobs.
-
Nobody is considering that the player may have preferred to play for a side at the right end of the division potentially looking forward to a new season in the Premier League, rather than join a shitshow, losing most weeks and then ending up back in the championship licking their wounds.
-
I suppose I'll take them as well.
-
Well I suppose it depends who is in charge, but the game is becoming more about athleticism than ever and we should be learning that sloths don't cope well with the pace of the game. Vesty was mercurial last season but he's badly exposed in this, and Souttar is only marginally more mobile whilst being worse on the ball. I'll give him aerial threat though, he's got that. So whilst Souttar could probably do a job at Champ level, we'd be back to our current position and subsequent problems with him in our defence imo.
-
Disagree. Hopefully Sheffield Utd come in and offer us £10mill+ for him and we can get rid.
-
I think people forget this. Or it's like shiny new toy syndrome. Carlos Borges (Forbs) absolutely tore shit up at youth level. Ajax took him, he's flopped. Loaned to Wolves, can barely get a kick in an under-performing side. Will likely go back to Ajax without triggering the obligation. I'd happily take the fxxker next season though.
-
Fxxk that. He's had his opportunities here. If he does well for Sheffield Utd, then hopefully they pony up some dough for him.
-
Could be great. Plays and looks absolute dog shit. Interest over.
-
Let's be honest here, "Free" is out of our price range.
