I largely agree, but at this level you don't really get many proven 'good'. You get proven 'League one standard' or unproven. Anybody that proved they're good for this level has since moved beyond it. Unless we look at someone who has just been promoted.

Young Jordan should be thanked for what he's done for this club. He knew that the number 9 shirt would prove to be a huge millstone round the neck of any player that put it on. He knew how much pressure would be heaped on whoever adorned the number of the clubs greatest player. So he stepped in, and performed.
