I think it was because at the time we were kinda of on par with united (crazy when you think of it now) league wise and were trying to bridge the gap so there was frustration there. He also overdid it a bit when he joined them which I think annoyed people but he was their record signing in fairness 😅 everyone seemed gunning for Maguire as well so wasn’t just us.

I doubt he’d be skipping to come back after the stick we’ve given him 😅

There’s no doubt that we have had unreal times under king power and that will never be forgotten. The problem is that since Vichai passed, you have a guy in charge that has had no experience of being the boss is such a big institution like us. He completely relies on Rudkin, he’s made no changes to the boardroom because he knows if he does, he won’t have that cushty relationship that he has with our current chief executive that essentially does everything for him. Relegation was a chance to re-set and he did naff all. That was the most telling thing. He genuinely cares for the club but the way the club has treated the fanbase in the last few years is pretty disappointing to put it lightly. Also, considering the relationship between the club and fans about 5 years ago was the best in the country compared to where it is now as one of the worst is pretty hard to do. King power are so ingrained in the club I don’t see him ever selling to be honest. Not saying that everything will be hunky dory if he does but it feels like the club needs a re-set of ownership and board room.

I get all that but it’s more the fact people are just wanting to jump on him at any chance, looking for any negative they can. I won’t be judging till a few games into the season at least. And not to state the obvious but he has utter clowns above him not helping the situation

I know this pre season has been shit but the guy hasn’t even managed a competitive game for us yet man. Honestly people are so desperate to find any negative they can to get on his back, at least give the bloke some premier league games and see where we are then. Wanting him out because of a of a poor pre season is way over the top. Just don’t be so willing to try and critique the guy at any chance. It’s not going to help us one bit if things start getting toxic so quickly. We need everyone on side this season, and having half the fanbase desperate for a managerial change already isn’t going to help things is it …
