Always liked the intro of the Ridley Scott movie "Prometheus". It's on YouTube. Seemed just as believable as anything science or religion can come up with.

Perhaps we haven't created the science capable of measuring the "evidence". When I look at photos from Hubble or the newest telescope that's been sent into space I feel without doubt that we are not alone. That we are only beginning to understand how things connect to each other. The rabbit hole runs deep and in all directions.

This is gold for me now being able to watch the rebuild and promotion back into the EPL....... Even as a Brendan lover I cannot bring myself to watch weekly Scottish League Football again. No way was I willing to pay for that after watching Rodgers have to deal with park the bus every week for the first three years. Can still stream their Champions League however which is the only thing worth watching given the change of tempo and quality. All in for the new manager and watching the build. Have faith.

They better show him the money as in caliber of players if this is true. Which I don't. But like all things that happened here over the past 4 years no body really knows sxxt. Same thing happened in the winter window on his title run at Liverpool. A right winger no less by the name of Mohammed Salah. Owner probably screwed him out of a title that season and a possible world class striker the next. Sold to Chelsea for a million more.

It's obvious that the club doesn't want to change the style of football that Puel and Rodgers have started and players have been purchased by the club with that intention. Weather the club has the finances available to play this type of football at this level for a sustained period of time is the question. Squads and managers have to be replenished and rebuilt continuously. That said I think Jesse Marsch has the potential to be a very good manager in the PL. I would hope that if the club signed him it would be with an eye to possibly rebuilding in the championship and getting promoted. Marsch has never had a club promoted in the championship. Rodgers has in Swansea. Either way this club needs a serious rebuild and the club doesn't sound like their in the mood to throw away a whole system which has took years and many millions to build. There are many reasons why this club is where it's at. Riding on the edge of a cliff ain't for sissies.

Makeovers are usually a bit cheap, trashy and usually don't hold up too well aesthetically or maintenance wise. As if the state of the world and the past 2 + years(Covid/finance) doesn't matter? Trash everything and start from scratch? Glover was a good start and the winter window was a solid step forward. Two definite wins and a serious prospect that has every chance of coming good given time should you hire the right manager with a proper attitude towards youth. This club has every chance of getting back to where it was given time patience and rebuilding with a vision. The same vision that brought you the the League and the FA cup. Patience.

Agreed. The question is would he go? Is Levy a man he could trust to back him? After he resurrected what ever talent they have would he just get treated like he did at Liverpool or Celtic. Tottenham always seemed like a club that was a day late but a dollar short. Never willing to invest that bit more to get them over the line and build consistency(Stadium)?.
