I’m surprised at how many people seem to be more against the club than they do the authorities, in this situation. They’ve ripped up their own rule book to come back for more after losing a case. They’re acting on spite. All whilst failing to deliver the final verdict on Man City - because going against a state will inevitably unearth all the corruption beneath the surface.

Now is the perfect time to give Stolarczyk the confidence and freedom to develop as number 1. I don’t want the club to bring in a goalkeeper that is anything other than firmly a number 2 (I wouldn’t be opposed to one of Ward or Iversen staying for this reason). It never works well if you have two keepers and neither know if they’re the number 1. He didn’t have his best game in possession against Ipswich but I think we’ve seen enough to say he’s fine for the Championship with the potential to develop into a good Premier League goalkeeper.

His movement is so bad. He’s either offside or nowhere near close enough to the last man to break the line, never in the right place. Thing is with good strikers is that they keep putting themselves in the right positions to make amends if they miss chances. Hojlund doesn’t even get the opportunity to miss the chances because he’s not in the right spot. His xG this season must be so low for a 9 that has played as many games as he has.

Is there another team in the league as unbalanced as Chelsea? Their central midfield (6, 8 and 10 positions) is one of the best in the league, the defence is average and attack non-existent.

I don’t think we’ve handled it that badly considering he’s done the loans through the leagues and is now wanted by Chelsea at 21. Centre-backs dont often establish thenselves too young.

To some extent, Wigan, Stoke and Bolton were all often in the Premier League when I started watching football, and I don’t really look at any of them as big clubs.

My bad, great deal then We were still prepared to commit £8m to Ayew over £7.5m on Yunus. We could have bought Akgun and got pretty much all that back if it hadn’t worked out. Ayew there’s no sell on value and we knew he wasn’t good enough from the start. The only upside with him is that he might be decent in the Championship to get us back up.

Considering we spent £8m on Ayew it’s baffling we didn’t spend £7.5m on the option for Yunus Akgun.

Always thought Liam Moore would go on to be a decent Premier League centre back for us when watching him in the Championship

Don't think he looks happy in Amorim's 3-4-2-1. He doesn't really have the physical capabilities to play in the double pivot in his system, and neither does he have the offensive skills to play in one of the two 10s behind the striker. Man United have got a manager that can't get Amad, Garnacho and Mainoo into their best position's because he's married to one system. They're arguably the 3 to build around after Bruno and none of them are now guaranteed starters.

Southampton and Everton's Hummel kits are awful.

The style of football isn't sustainable. You can't consistently concede possession and expect to outperform your xG over a longer period of time.

Nike or more Adidas. Just not Hummel, their kits are the worst.

Ayew will still be here next season - don't really fancy having him and Ings as our forward line, not dynamic enough.
