  1. Romero will be gone in the summer too, that defence isn’t improving any time soon.
  2. Can’t believe Sky and Forest fans had the audacity to compare themselves to the 15/16 team. More like Burnley 17/18.
  3. Is there another team in the league as unbalanced as Chelsea? Their central midfield (6, 8 and 10 positions) is one of the best in the league, the defence is average and attack non-existent.
  4. I don’t think we’ve handled it that badly considering he’s done the loans through the leagues and is now wanted by Chelsea at 21. Centre-backs dont often establish thenselves too young.
  5. Hopefully it’ll be ‘who remembers when Forest had THAT season’ when they’re relegated in two years time and don’t come back for another 20 years.
  6. To some extent, Wigan, Stoke and Bolton were all often in the Premier League when I started watching football, and I don’t really look at any of them as big clubs.
  7. My bad, great deal then We were still prepared to commit £8m to Ayew over £7.5m on Yunus. We could have bought Akgun and got pretty much all that back if it hadn’t worked out. Ayew there’s no sell on value and we knew he wasn’t good enough from the start. The only upside with him is that he might be decent in the Championship to get us back up.
  8. Considering we spent £8m on Ayew it’s baffling we didn’t spend £7.5m on the option for Yunus Akgun.
  9. Stolarczyk JJ Coady Nelson Thomas Skipp Ricardo Fatawu McAteer Mavididi Daka That’s a team of players that I think are likely to still be here next season (Ricardo at CM because can see the others all leaving), that team easily finishes top 6 in the Championship and some.
  10. Easiest £20 ever. We’ll be top 3.
  11. Always thought Liam Moore would go on to be a decent Premier League centre back for us when watching him in the Championship
  12. I don’t want Dyche, not because I don’t like him, but because our squad doesn’t suit his style of football at all. I know the squad will change in the summer but we don’t need to make it even harder for ourselves.
  13. Don't think he looks happy in Amorim's 3-4-2-1. He doesn't really have the physical capabilities to play in the double pivot in his system, and neither does he have the offensive skills to play in one of the two 10s behind the striker. Man United have got a manager that can't get Amad, Garnacho and Mainoo into their best position's because he's married to one system. They're arguably the 3 to build around after Bruno and none of them are now guaranteed starters.
  14. Southampton and Everton's Hummel kits are awful.
  15. The style of football isn't sustainable. You can't consistently concede possession and expect to outperform your xG over a longer period of time.
  16. Nike or more Adidas. Just not Hummel, their kits are the worst.
  17. Ayew will still be here next season - don't really fancy having him and Ings as our forward line, not dynamic enough.
  18. Am I the only one that thinks we’re one of the only fan bases that really ever talk about the sponsor on our kit? Maybe it’s because we had Walkers and King Power for years which people felt closer to (King Power at the time of success). Never hear any other fans talk about it the way ours do.
  19. I’d argue Villa and Newcastle have hardly struggled. Common factor with them both though is that they’ve spent a lot of money to compete.
  20. Musa we flipped a profit on, at least. So you could argue Edouard has been more costly than him.
  21. They haven’t been
  22. Still think we should be treating McAteer as someone who is in their third season of adult development rather than saying "fully-developed".
  23. I couldn’t disagree more. Manning seems like to me a manager that’s very good for mid table Championship clubs (like we see at Bristol City) where he gets the most out of his resources without developing an ideology or style of play to build upon. People take the piss out of Russell Martin but he genuinely has the potential to be a real top manager when you look at the way he develops players and teams. It’s just whether or not he can change the mentality of some of his sides and get them to become more rounded.
  24. Lucas Stassin from St. Etienne https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/lucas-stassin/profil/spieler/655012
  25. Weird, Flekken has been good for them this season
