  1. I was talking about Cifuentes
  2. I was happy to have him last season when we were linked before appointing Cooper. Manager with similar ideas to Maresca was always the way to go for me, personally.
  3. I feel like the main reason Vardy left was because we couldn't afford to keep him, rather than him wanting to leave given he clearly didn't have anything lined up.
  4. I think it’s more of a case of most of our players being some of the best at this level but not good enough for the Premier League. The wages make them unattractive to sides in Europe, too. There’s not as much necessity to sell as what some think from a playing POV, but financially we probably need to shift a few.
  5. Yeah, and I think his style of play will be easier to implement with this group of players than Rohl’s will.
  6. I like this more than the links to Rohl
  7. We’ve got Mavididi, Fatawu, McAteer, Reid, Monga, Alves and Evans in the wide areas - I really think this summer we will only spend out of necessity, which means we will miss opportunities for deals like this.
  8. Meh, don't know how he's going to do, best option of what's available but wouldn't have been my choice a few weeks ago.
  9. I think next season we will be good for automatic promotion - just depends on how many points we get deducted. Southampton and Ipswich aren’t as good as us. Ipswich have lost Delap and Tuanzebe, and looks like Cajuste won’t be back either.
  10. I played at the King Power in 2016 a couple of weeks after the season finished and the pitch looked similar then. I imagine in May/June they must just not do any maintenance on it. It’ll be fine by August,
  11. Other way around. The Premier League is probably the highest quality it’s ever been.
  12. True but no one asked for him to play Palmer deeper than Bellingham
  13. I’m pretty sure it will still go into next year’s financial accounts. Remember last year we sold KDH in July and he went into 23/24 accounts not 24/25.
  14. All of these kits are great.
  15. Ghana didn't qualify, did they?
  16. You probably don't notice how many clubs have players in their squad that the fans think aren't good enough or should be moved on. I'm sure most people outside of LCFC don't think Soumare, Faes, Daka, Coady, Vestergaard etc. aren't rated by a large group of our fans because they haven't been moved on in years.
  17. 30 years old, poor time at Rennes - it's an expensive gamble. I wouldn't want us to sign him.
  18. I respect everyone has different views on how they want the game to be played but it really confuses me how so many people found Enzo’s football boring. I just don’t understand how you don’t enjoy watching your side be the superior team in pretty much every game.
  19. Daka is good enough for the Championship, but we need another option in terms of a different profile of striker too.
  20. The level Rodgers got out of the players when he first came in and in 19/20 shows how much Puel underachieved in 18/19 with that team.
  21. Same as we probably will be next season…
  22. The 19/20 pink kit looked great - hopefully this one lives up to that.
  23. Another American player that’s also good is Diego Luna
  24. Feel like Souttar will only really ever be a good option in a low block with his lack of pace as well, or as part of a back 3 surrounded by pace.
  25. It’s not just about goal contributions, though. In Enzo’s system the wide players were really wide, job was to beat their man and then the goals would come a lot from overloads in central areas in the pitch. You can see Mavididi’s quality by eye. We become significantly weaker out wide without him.
