And Southampton have been ran fantastically over the last 5 years as a football club.
-
No need for them to recall him with their attacking options, and there is also a loan fee involved so Brighton may not even have grounds to do so.

I really don't think he's been bad at all this season. -
They've got Quansah - don't see why they'd target Nelson
-
It’s probably because we gained loads of followers after the league win and they aren’t actually LCFC fans interacting with posts.
-
To me, it's not that shocking. Fatawu, Mavididi and Buonanotte, despite none of them proven at this level, are extremely high quality attacking players for a newly promoted side and Vardy, even at 37, is still Vardy. Arsenal away is the only game that surprises me we did as well as we did to score 2 in considering we only had about 3 shots on target
-
Not once did I want Enzo out last season, but I've not been impressed with Cooper. I don't think many people are actively calling for him to be sacked, or that they dislike him, but there are obvious issues with the way he's setting us up and the tactics he is employing not best suiting the players, and it becomes concerning when these areas seem obvious to us and what to do to fix them, but not to the man being paid to make the calls.
-
If he was pragmatic then he would have adapted his style of play and coaching methods to resemble what we were doing last season, rather than signing below average players like Reid and Ayew to try force his way to work.
-
I think he usually talks well but I cringe every time he talks about us being newly-promoted or fighting against relegation. Most of our squad have spent the majority of their careers playing top-flight football. He doesn't need to mention it in every interview/presser he does.
-
Was there? We weren't able to spend any money, though. I thought Rodgers had spoke to players who were keen on joining then the club broke the news to him that we couldn't due to FFP.
-
Biggest concern for me is that he's come into the club, had pre-season to work with the players and also the opportunity to watch last season back and he's failed to identify who some of our best players are and left them out, whilst also changing the system. Basically the opposite of what Ranieri did when he came in. It wasn't broke, don't know why he thought we need to change. It's no coincidence that we played the way we did in the second half on Saturday with Fatawu and Mavididi on at the same time and the team playing the closest style/resemblance to last season that we have for all of this one so far.
-
You can say that for all of them but it’s early in the season. We splashed out on Bilal and his stats aren’t impressive so far, but off of what I seen I have high hopes for him.
-
Hlozek in the summer the most recent one.
-
As much as I doubt the source, the ironic thing is that Chilwell would actual be good for Cooper considering he wants at least one of his full-backs to be a great athlete who can get high to support in the build-up/attack.
-
Ghana basically out of AFCON qualifying now after losing 2-0 to Sudan so Ayew and Fatawu (if they’re both here in 12 months time) likely to still be available Dec 2025/Jan 2026. Not really relevant right now.
-
Definitely the best move. Maybe add in the Premier League license, too (if possible).
-
I don’t necessarily want him out as I don’t have any dislike for the bloke, the feeling is nothing. I just want him to see the obvious. Annoyed he didn’t see the obvious in the summer when he directed us to sign Ayew and BDCR, too. Glover needs to take some responsibility too for deviating from the plan, although he’s not the one sanctioning the deals so there’s multiple people behind the scenes at fault.
-
I think that’s just someone gauging fans feelings and looking at performances. Classic case of 2+2 etc. We all know he’s under pressure to succeed but that Bournemouth win has no doubt given him time. Obvious to us all as fans though that we’ve regressed from last season.
-
I’d agree, but unfortunately it’s one of the least important ones that will contribute to a side getting enough points to stay in this league. Look at Luton last season, and you can bet Ipswich will fight until the end too, but you need a bit more than players fighting to stay up. We have the quality, it’s just not being used right. I don’t understand how Fatawu doesn’t start every game, for example.

Southampton vs Leicester (A) - October 19th

Fatawu over Ayew, keep the rest the same. Southampton struggled a lot when Bournemouth were direct and went at them with speed - we need to do the same with Fatawu, Facu and Mavididi. -
Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!

Last season 90% of the players fitted into Maresca’s system. Our window meant we got the right profile to have two of each player in nearly every position that could slot seamlessly in. This is one of Rodgers’ squad building faults where we ended up having a disjointed team in 22/23. Players like Ayew, Edouard and BDCR who aren’t like for like/similar to others in their position, but in fact completely different, upsets the balance once again. -
Tbf we could have made that same sub for Ayew but played him as a 6 and pushed Skipp and Ndidi both to 8s to have the same assets on the pitch.
-
Winks has been poor in a double pivot for years. He's very good as a lone 6, but not suited to play elsewhere.
