Well that's a positive right there, guaranteed improvement for the second half of next season.

The club is being burned to the ground, teetering on the brink of extinction. But that's okay, let's fill out questionnaires and happy clap the heroic warriors on the pitch. Pleasantries need to be cut and action taken or there won't be a club left to fight for.

Can't see it to be honest. If he's good enough to keep this absolute shower up he'll likely be spotted by a club able to pay more than a bag of peanuts and two sticks of gum. If the outcome is League 1, then that bag of peanuts and two sticks of gum will likely prove highly fanciful as a transfer kitty. Also, unsure he'd want to stay either way, wasn't he signed when the club thought they'd walk the league again just by turning up?
-
However that bucket is rather heavy and may be difficult to carry much further.

Unpopular opinion I know, but you could argue if they'd have kept the faith with Cooper, there was a decent chance of avoiding relegation. You can't sign some of his players, sack him and then moan his players can't play a different system, that's on Rudkin not the manager. Rodgers reign probably cost the club the most, especially when you consider the squad he had, much of which walked away for very little/nothing.

...in an average team that finished 22nd and got relegated. In a way makes it more impressive.

Even if you haven't solved the riddle correctly, Scott Parker is still a moron.

Maybe there's an element of regret in binning off Cooper, who may have proven worthy and avoided relegation, as opposed to appointing RVN (who is possibly the worst appointment in the history of football) in the hopes of chasing a mid table finish. My thinking is, in appointing someone almost as good as Cooper for the coming season, (Cervantes or whatever his name is) and keeping together a premier league squad that should have been good enough to stay up, it's hard to bet against a top 2 finish. Let's face it, if Cooper was still here (probably still be in the Prem, but that aside) everyone on here would be talking about winning the league by a clear 20-30 points and having it wrapped up by Xmas. Adding a brilliant young GK to the ranks in the past few days shows how serious the board are about the clubs future. I'll cheer every time Faes (hopefully captain this season) gets megged or almost makes a tackle, likewise every time Daka falls over the ball five yards out. And again for Skipp, but probably only after 75 minutes when I realise he's actually been on the pitch all game. Splendid job this summer, splendid. (If unsure, Google sarcasm and Irony before getting angry...)

May afford him some more time to further enhance his impact on LCFC.

Why do that when he can knock on Rudkin's and come away with a two year extension and 40% pay rise...?! -

...somewhere in a parallel universe there's a foxestalk where everyone's worshipping Cooper for keeping Leicester out of the bottom 3 all season... -
Playing them at the right time... The whole of their first choice defence is out. (Veltman, Van Hecke, Webster, Igor, Lamptey) They're starting the match with only two defenders in the starting 11, 3rd choice CB Dunk (whose turning circle is like an oil tanker) and wingback Estupinan. Presume two of the four CM's are plugging the gaps? (Hinchelwood at RB, maybe Baleba at CB?) On top of this their two best attacking threats in Mitoma and Rutter are out. Sneaky upset on the cards here?

West Ham United away, AKA eat, sleep, Decordova-Reid repeat.

Worst two managers in the league go head to head... I'll go for a 0-0. Exciting times. -
How s**t are Spurs!
-
26. Or, in other words, about 10 less than Cooper would have finished with.
-
Nothing to worry about, Palace only want £60M for him. Unfortunately LCFC are only willing to go to £50M.

And just think, Cooper might have fought out a hard to watch draw there... -
Any of you lot that actually want Potter, must be absolutely off your tits... If it turns out to be Potter, nailed on relegation, pile your money on, and be prepared to be watch football played as a sedative.

Facundo Buonanotte joins on loan - Official

Haven't they signed Rutter as backup for Pedro? Buonanotte needs to be playing regular to reach his potential and he'd barely make their bench this season.
