House leaders of a terrorist organisation, get banged.

5th the season before mind you. I am not saying he is the best in the world, but he is being employed at an elite level. Whether Forest are patient enough I doubt, but he has a good enough track record to deserve a chance.
-
You can only have success with the elite when you get there. And he did just win a major European trophy.
-
I like Ange, he is a good manager and good bloke. I don't however want him to succeed at Forest. Shame. Unfortunately I think he might do well.

Visiting from Australia, the UK seems to have lost its pride in keeping the place tidy, let alone filling the potholes or empty shops and so on. And that is visiting wealthy Surrey.

Hhe thinks its proportionate for 5 armed police officers to arrest a bloke for tweets, he can get in the bin.

Premier League 2025/26 Thread

I am sure the family who own 87% of Spurs will be surprised to hear that Levy was controlling the transfer budget. Lets be clear, if we have misaligned with them he would not have lasted that long. -
In retrospect, I think the Peter Taylor debacle showed us how much Martin O'Neil had us outperforming. Even when selling some of the stars for really pretty good money, we were not even close to replacing them with anything like the quality we needed. Partly I guess as the board saw the opportunity to retain some funds for the stadium.
-
Unfortunately it looks like he shot a police officer in the head in the shootout.
-
You tell them they aren't good enough after every defeat and play the worst of the squad alongside them to make a point about squad depth.
-
Its pathetic to be honest. He might be well paid, but he is still just a bloke trying to balance work and home life like everyone else.
-
Our two greatest successes came since his time though, so of course the club continues.
-
I don't mind doing it, as long as it pays well and the travel is in First class.
-
It's still impossible.
-
A slightly different take, people cannot help their incompetence - that is on the board who hired them. Martin O'Neill for leaving us when he did. Oh what might have been. Rodgers for not quitting when the board told him there was no money, and instead sending us down.
-
It's not a criticism; I listen to quite a lot of her music as I have a teenage daughter. Some is brilliant, but even the less brilliant stuff is pretty decent.

Wearing a sling. Blokes got to eat!

Lots of women disagree with you completely and given it is their toilets and showers we are talking about, I do think perhaps we should shut up and listen.

2nd generation migrants seem to struggle most to fit in to be honest. Parents are glad of the safety life in the UK brings, but tend to still live in their own way in thei own communities, whereas their kids have that at home then UK schooling, stuck in between and fitting in neither. Look at a lot of the coverage re Shamima Begum and how she was ripe to be radicalised.

Exactly, if you commit a crime here you serve time here, and then off you pop. Hopefully the courts will have that power by the time he gets out.

I dislike looking at Stamp duty rules, the whole premise of it is nasty - its a pointless money grab of a tax.
-
In fact its even clearer than I thought, see above post.

I have to say HMRC site is pretty clear... If any of you will own, or part own more than one residential property worth £40,000 or more, you will have to pay the higher rates on your new purchase (unless there is another reason why the higher rates do not apply). Include any residential property that: is owned on behalf of children under the age of 18 (parents are treated as the owners even if the property is held through a trust and they are not the trustees) you have an interest in as the beneficiary of a trust

We paid around 23M pounds, Haaland moved for 20M Euro... so we paid about 50% more. To be fair Daka had delivered over a longer period. I think he was in a sweet spot there which he never quite found in the UK.
