Could we get actually get relegated again this season?
Jon the Hat replied to Bevan's topic in Leicester City Forum
We are not going up, but I have confidence that the bottom of this league is so appallingly bad that worst case sees us lower mid table. -
There are hard decisions to make, and no one is willing to make them. The NHS funding model is completely unsustainable, the current local authority funding model is a failure, as is the Governance model which has resulted in some spectacular financials meltdowns. The population has negated responsibility to care for their surroundings to local government who cannot or will not do it. Developments which could solve housing crises are blocked by self-imposed environmental rules, and when they do happen are overpriced. Where are the actually brave politicians to speak the truth and do something about it?

He might not be the right player for us at this point, but to say he is not a successful centre back is delulu.

I mean he has made a successful career of playing there for club and country, but you go with it.

Premier League 2025/26 Thread

Its not like he was stood there and it hit him, he flung himself left and deflected a goal bound shot with his arm, which happened to be at his side. No arm, no deflection. -
Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Everyone is for sale, if they want out let them go, replace with players who want to be here. -
As Rory Stewart put it on the RIP this week, he appears to be basing his understanding of the world on the game RISK form the mid Eighties. "We are number one, Russia is number two". I mean seriously?
-
Lets look on the bright side - this means some we don't like is leaving. Has to. Doesn;t it? Please? Anyone? HELP ME OUT HERE??? AARRRGHHHH.........

They are hardly the first owners to find that managing a football club is very different to managing their other business. Vichai was though a lucky man, and I tend to think you make your own luck. Top has not made his own luck.

He is elected as a councillor, his fellow councillors made him deputy leader and can remove him from that position with a vote.

Russia's objective is to remove Ukraine as a sovereign power which brings Western forces - both economic and military - to their borders. Anything Russia agrees now will only be on their route to achieving this. the only thing that will stop them is force, and it remains unclear if there is even a way to push them back without triggering something much worse. So if Ukraine are forced to agree to giving up some land - which does not achieve Russia's objective - it must be on the condition of a US + Europe backed security guarantee plus the ability to make it much much harder for Russia to break the agreement in future. The problem being that probably means Russia will not agree. Its a proper stalemate because of the incompatible demands.

I still have no idea what happened. Was he really in the frame? Where did he go? Is he real?
-
The problem being we needs some new faces to help lift the malaise, regardless of whether they are backup or starting 11.
-
We very clearly need this window to be closed before any form of togetherness can build. I would say it is essential when it does we have at least 5 new faces in the dressing room to shake things up, bring a bit of fresh energy and ensure those who need to up their game feel a bit of pressure.

I am still faintly happy the word tier is out there so much simply because it rhymes with Keir. Its a great word tier.
-
What? The land of the free? Whoever told you that is your enemy.

James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

For what we paid he has been a good signing, such a shame he never got back to his best post injury. Good luck to him! -
I just hope not in my lifetime. I became a man in the 1990's I have no idea how to deal with major war. None.
-
He looks great, and sounds like he has overcome some challenges along the way. Good for him.
-
Its not that illogical tbh, they don't want to pay to look after others when they see poverty / lack of investment at home. Mind you some of them dont want to pay for that either. I also think ones understanding of poverty changes a bit if you venture out of the wealthy western world and into other parts.

Some of those Subs can be pretty meaty. You would be mad to throw anything at a US cop, honestly he is lucky they didn't shoot him on the spot.
-
We have great depth in the numbers, just not in the quality. Out starting 11 has several glaring gaps in it, so the 2nd 11 was never going to be any good. If there really are potential moves on the cards for them both, they are bound to be a little careful intil it is resolved one way or another.
-
You are completely correct. The left are mental! Only joking, honestly the lack of any consideration of others viewpoint is exhausting. Immigration can be both good an bad, and saying that doesn't make you racist, xenophobic or a bad person. I say it and I am an immigrant to Australia.
-
But you have to dam rivers to do that, habitat destruction etc. Legal challenges etc.
-
Yes lots of good initiatives in terms of improved land use and care already underway you wouldn't want to stop.
