  1. It would be a brave possibly foolhardy investment at this point I would say. What money have we generated from Seagrave so far? Have any players come through there which we could really say were down to the facilities?
  2. You seem to be arguing with yourself here; I am not blaming Seagrave, and have a very good understanding of how business works. In retrospect no doubt KP would have prioritized the stadium expansion had they known PSR was coming. Another reason PSR is stupid as it incentivizes short term revenue opportunities over long term development ones. You are right technically KP could have done both, or indeed could throw money at the stadium today, but they didn't. They put their money in a long term bet which is not generating any revenue today. Even is if they start building tomorrow morning, it would be 2 years+ before the plans delivered any income to support investment in the playing side.
  3. We are not running away now though are we? Will be a few points in it at best from here, possibly just pipping Ipswich to 2nd is we can turn things.
  4. We would have been better doing the stadium quicker I guess, increase revenue rather than betting on developing players.
  5. Its good to see that common sense can overcome sky fairy nonsense by just calling it out as sky fairy nonsense I hope said people are happy living their lives of course, just not trying to tell us we are going to hell.
  6. 1-0 wins in the 101st minute?
  7. They are funny but not necessarily always relevant. For all we know there where 2 already in 2019, and a 3rd was not needed. Or public opinion was against a location due to parking issues say and he listened to his voters. Actually reading the minutes, planning officers had recommended refusal as they already lost too many retail units to fast food. Perhaps that changed, or policy changed due to covid, more empty shops over a longer period etc.
  8. Honestly at the moment he is Brian Kidd when he went to Blackburn. Good record as a number 2, not achieved anything as a manager. I don't see a long queue of clubs waiting to take him on.
  9. Debt is not in itself a bad thing. Nearly all business use debt because it allows them to 1) fund investment which helps them to grow without carrying all the risk or if they cannot fund it themselves, and 2) improve the returns for the rest of the shareholders. In football a lot of the debt is also to the owners other companies which is simply a way of taking profit from per tax instead of post tax earnings.
  10. Fair point, perhaps she is playing for the top job now. In which case her plan may be to come in, call an immediate election in the hope of not losing her seat and then lead from the opposition benches.
  11. They also have the power to impose a transfer ban to stop us doing that. And no doubt they would.
  12. Much better idea, spend some time learning the job in opposition. Develop some policy positions, build anew power base among the few new MPs and hope some of the old power brokers are gone. Try to rebuild an actual conservative Conservative party in the centre right.
  13. No point wasting ones leadership shot on losing an election. Sunak will likely stay because no one will take over.
  14. PSR means we will see teams selling talented youngsters.
  15. Had to be stephy I suppose. Shame
  16. Outside the box surely
  17. Is it several other rubbish strikers and an injured Vardy?
  18. I was going to bed, opened another beer instead!!
