Well yes, I don't think any of us expected Starmer to implode this quickly. Still I have said Starmer needs to go and it looks like Burnham is the man to oust him. If he makes a few tweaks and sells policy better he has more of chance of winning the next election than Starmer.

A bit of melt indeed, but there have been plenty of players in that bracket over the years who clubs have managed to get playing well. Danny Drinkwater is hardly stable, but was excellent for us at a key time. If Russel can get him onside, playing and feeling like he is the star like Enzo did, we will have a much better last year of his contract that it appears.

Possibly worse I think, as Iran now know the US is a paper tiger that is not willing to invade, and that they can fight on almost indefinitely against air attack, while causing Billions of dollars of damage to US bases and allied countries which they don't like very much. Oh and they know what they only hoped before, that their power to block the Straight of Hormuz is a massive trump card. SO maybe they go back to where they were on nuclear weapons, but they feel emboldened in every other way, and will come out with fewer sanctions and more wealth
