  1. If thats the case i stand corrected. Being wrong sometimes i can accept. Its not the first time, probably wont be the last. Its maybe a generational thing or maybe im being too sensitive but i dont like the way people speak to each other online. So aggressive and no respect. "how do you know" ......or like people are stupid. In truth, his comments weren't as bad as some i see on here. It just riles me people talk to you in a way they wouldn't face to face when they are online behind a screen. If they did it would provoke a serious reaction. Maybe im just getting old. Apologies
  2. Key words .....by look of stadium plan.....what's up? Nobody to try and pick an argument with at home? I dont see why seats would be advertised as for sale as season tickets if they werent available.
  3. Loads left by look of stadium plan. Are they going on sale to those that missed out after monday then?
  4. I wouldn't be surprised. There are still lots seemingly available all round the ground. I got on at 10am on the dot expecting a scramble for the area i wanted but neednt have bothered rushing. Theres still a few days to go but i would imagine most people would have thought like me and tried to get in early. It does seem like those that said they wouldn't renew werent just saying it, they meant it.
  5. Ha ha not quite free but definitely way more manageable
  6. **** me. This is the promised land financially. Even accounting for a bit of interest, if they add it for direct debits, my monthly payment will be less than i paid for one game for me and my daughter as a member.
  7. Not screen shots but from camera as of 5 mins ago
  8. Only way to do it really. I've had no problems face to face. And theres also the fact you know where to find them (or at least the persons house they are using) if anything goes wrong. Not worth the potential hassle for them to try and scam someone for 60 or 70 quid
  9. Me and daughter accepted on 27 and 28. Very surprised. Was almost certain it would be a no
  10. Yes if you mean the one they all clap in unison with. Looks the biz.
  11. Quite a big ultra scene here by look of it. Noticed a lot of stickers around the city. Both sets of ultra fans dressed almost entirely in black also. It was quite a sight to see hundreds of them walking to the ground. Despite this being a huge rivalry i didnt see any trouble or feel unsafe in any way, even with my daughter wearing a djurgarden scarf. Cov away felt far dodgier and edgy.
  12. Djurgarden v aik yesterday. Immense , phenomenal, incredible. Running out of words. Both ends didnt stop for the entire game. The bouncing made it look like the stands were actually moving. The game itself was championship standard i would say but more physical , ref letting plenty go in a hot tempered derby. Also banners displayed by fans "no to var". Great experience . I have to do it again.
  13. Ah ok. Not much difference in price to a uk pint then. Ill raise the hammarby idea but I suspect other plans will be made for me on the Saturday 😂 Thank you
  14. My swedish contact at djurgarden came through! Tickets officially transferred to me yesterday through the clubs app. Fair play to him. He didnt have to help me but he did. Flying out tomorrow for the derby game v aik on sunday. Cant wait. Just taking out a loan to buy my contact some beers pre match 😂 And to think.....i could have been at city v Southampton 😂
  15. Nail. Head.
  16. My first job at 16. I worked with some older lads who i wanted to "get in with" being young and impressionable. One of them said to me, can you drive? For some reason i said yeah, course, even though i had never been behind the wheel ever. Good he said, do us a favour and move my car away from the entrance before we open. F*#k knows why but in my head i thought this would be easy. I had a vague idea of what i was supposed to do. The reality was a sh*t load of revving and the car shooting forward through the boundary wall and ending up in the neighbours garden. Ill never forget an old lady at the bus stop opposite who had seen the whole thing just shaking her head for the longest time. Luckily for me my boss eventually saw the funny side even though it cost him a bomb to rebuild the wall. He actually blamed the lad who told me to move the car!🤣
  17. Ah ok. Yes of course. I do remember him saying that......and of course the rain. A lot of these old games and seasons merge into one for me now
  18. Blast from the past . Coming back to me now. Zenith data cup in the rain was it?
  19. If you aren't wayne rooney undercover, then perhaps we should compare tinder matches. Your post sums my inbox up 😂
  20. One that lived up to the billing for once . Weren't 4 rounds in it for me. Wouldn't have argued with a draw . Fair play though they gave it all. Boxing when its that's raw is unmatchable as a spectacle
  21. I relate to this. My elder cousin took me to my first game. Very early 90s v wolves. Toward the end he said come on we better go. I said, very excited "why is it gonna kick off".......no he said, i want to beat the traffic 😂 I dont condone violence and i take my daughter to matches these days so i wouldn't want her caught up in anything but there is some truth in the fact that part of the attraction and excitement for a young lad in those days was the possibility of trouble .
  22. I had a similar thought
  23. Listen i dont know why mummy makes me wear a scarf in april Or.....more sadly...... The crowds dispersed as the owner carried the corpse of leicester city, not wanting to watch as he laid it down.
  24. That really is the top and bottom of it. Its the reality. "Do they increase our matchday income and cause minimum fuss and not ask awkward questions?" "no?" "f*#k them then" Its not just us either. I think if you ask anyone who has attended games at any club in the top two divisions for more than 15 to 20 years they will tell you the game is almost unrecognisable both on and off the pitch. That said, well done to the trust, ufs, osvaldo and anyone else who is trying to make a difference. I fear it is in vain the way the game has gone/is going but as they say "if nothing changes, nothing changes "
