  1. Good to know thank you. It will be the first time going to a foreign game so im starting from scratch 👍
  2. I didnt realise this thread existed until it was pointed out to me......so ..... My daughter and i are going to sweden next year and id love to take in a Stockholm derby while we are there. We are flexible on dates so i will look at fixtures. My question is does anyone know of any reputable football tour agents that aren't rip off merchants and i will actually get genuine tickets for a game. Any recommendations most welcome
  3. Thank you

  5. Yes you are thinking how i was. I accept there haven't been many good performances but the last couple i think have been good so i wouldn't drop him. Point taken about the championship.
  6. Im a little stumped by the lack of interest in him by Consecutive city managers. I saw him i think 4 times last season and i think he scored 3 goals that i saw in person. The other time he was played out wide which didn't work. But i thought he was useful, certainly more presence and physicality than daka and he can finish....he wasn't given a proper opportunity or regular appearances to make more of an impression. Id certainly have him back here now. I dont have any inside knowledge but my only assumption is that he has done something to put him in the bad books with enzo and then cooper
  7. There was a point not so long ago that i genuinely despised the idea of ever seeing him in a city shirt again. But credit where it is due ive been quite impressed with recent performances. Whether hes putting himself in the shop window or whether he genuinely wants us to do well, i can't make a case for dropping him at present. He can be a powerful presence in midfield if he keeps this current level of motivation. That said he cannot let his performance level slip an inch as he doesn't have the credit in the bank for any leeway , from me anyway
  8. I actually think we are a bit better than that. Ok i know we aren't 1970 brazil or even 2015 city but we aren't getting dicked every time out (brentford aside) and are picking up points against half decent sides like Brighton and bournemouth and have beaten sides down the bottom in Southampton and west ham. I think we have more about us than Ipswich, Southampton, everton and Wolves and we were hampered by coopers negativity in most of the first 12 games. Im optimistic of a mid table finish. Not setting the world alight but i can see us getting better as the season progresses under ruud
  9. Best way. I always get a taxi on nights out. I get to the bar , order 6 pints, drink one, leave 5, gone before my mates even arrive . Loads of cabs. Sorted, no hassle and at least i had a bit of drink .
  10. 80 minuters.......yes I know you have a life outside of football. Most of us do. But most of us accept if we are going to the football then its going to take up your afternoon. We dont make other plans at 5pm. If it takes an hour, hour and a half to get home, so be it. I realised that was likely to be the case when i bought the ticket . Out of interest what did you do with all that time you saved? Build a scale model of the eiffel tower out of matchsticks? Learn swahili? Read the complete works of Shakespeare ?
  11. Enzos style of play wasn't to everyones liking but inside a week we seem, to me anyway, to have reverted back to that a little, playing out a bit more from the back , using mads as a ball playing keeper, keeping hold of the ball for periods (at times). Personally i think we look better for it and the players seem comfortable with it, which makes sense given it was drilled into them by enzo. I still can't fathom why Cooper changed so much of what we were good at last season. Overall we deserved a draw i think and with buanotte and winks still to come back, i can see us improving further. We will never be world beaters with this squad but i think a comfortable mid table finish is a realistic aim this season. There is some sh*t in this division and brighton are one of the better sides.
  12. Ive seen a fair few Roberts coaches at away games. That said, i dont know where they run from or how you check availability as ive never used them. Got to be worth a phone call though
  13. Incorrect . In 30 odd years I have NEVER left early. People pay their money and will do what they want. I, along with many others, just don't get it.
  14. 80 minuters.......will you never learn.
  15. Thanks for replying/explaining 👍. I wasnt aware of the "just the ticket" scheme. I still think it begs the question as to why g1 wasnt included if they were trying to keep the cost of tickets in the corners lower though .
  16. Not sure this is the right thread but not starting a new one just for me to have a moan. I've always liked to be in and around the noisier parts of the ground (pen 2, then L1 and more recently sk1 or g1). But with costs rising i had a look at tickets in A1 where they are much cheaper (33 as opposed to 45 in g1 for a cat c game). It struck me that a1 is more or less a mirror image of g1 with much the same view and could only come up with one explanation for this (feel free to correct me if im wrong, which is a given on here 😂) For all the clubs resistance to an expanded singing section in the past and my assumptions from what ive read on here, that the club see UFS as an irritation or a thorn in their side, they are blatantly trading off of UFS' popularity by charging more in g1 than a1 because it is close to them and the singing section. Not the biggest issue to be resolved but hypocrisy and profiteering really grates on me. Edit. c2 as well as a1 similarly priced
  17. You should try it again . Some good bargains to be had in the bakery after 7pm
  18. You can't control people and I guess people will do what they want for whatever reason. I dont understand it though. At palace away my daughter needed the toilet at about 30 mins and so i went with her. As i was standing on the concourse (or rather, yard) waiting for her, i was fretting like mad id miss a goal. But there were a good number of people standing around having a pint......why???? It was the first time in over 30 years id left the stand during playing time and i hated it. I suppose the plus side of being at the back at Palace is that i wouldn't have seen much of the goal if one had been scored 😂. But the point being football isn't a cheap pastime and the assumption is we are all invested in leicester city to be at the ground. why would you risk missing the best bit (a goal ) after paying all that money/travelling ? Ill never understand it.
  19. Out of interest, did you get in? Ill be doing something similar at a game i wont specify, soon
  20. Its started !!! Ruud van nistleroy's Leicester !!! On the cup draw. No. Its leicester city!!
  21. Nah, its just looking for pet rabbits to shred and to go through your bins 😂
  22. I was surprised , but pleased, when it was introduced, and i believe, extended. But yes, i dont think the cap is here to stay. There's far more potential rinsing of supporters to be done without it
  23. Yep. More corporate greed. Part of it is that for some of these rich owners £66 doesn't even register as a sum of money. I bet they couldn't tell you what a loaf of bread or carton of milk costs. Slightly off topic but you get the point im making . Out of touch with everyday life
