So almost 50% have voted for Danny Rohl. He's probably the standout choice and most suited to dealing with the incoming points deduction, especially as we could well find ourselves towards the bottom of the Championship at some point during next season. Of course, it's unlikely Rohl will come. Aside from him, Rosenior would be worth going for but he's even more unlikely.

There’s an argument we would have gone down anyway but with more of a fight. Then again, at least a few players were supposedly not on board with Cooper, so the season might well have played out in the same way.
-
To be fair, they seemed fiercely loyal to Cooper in the main. The entitlement label which is often attached to ourselves may well have some truth to it, as a standalone point, but it doesn't hold up in terms of what has unfolded at the club in recent years.
-
Granted it's a minority, but surprised to see some Forest fans turning on the manager after the season they've had. They would be all over it with the entitlement shouts if the roles were reversed. The point to make on that as well, given the success we've experienced in the last 10 years, at least there's reason for having so called entitled fans. For a club who spent nearly 25 years outside the top flight, Forest do seem to have a level of unfounded arrogance. Again, I would stipulate that by saying it's a minority and most football fans are reasonably minded. It should also be said that people who watch their team every week are best placed to have opinions on managers/players.

2-1 defeat to end the season I think, but with the way Bournemouth play, it could be a lot worse than that. They’re another side who in the space of a few years are now miles ahead in terms of quality. We’ve shown over the course of this season that we cannot even compete or keep pace with the clubs around us, let alone teams higher up the table.
-
The point to add to this as well, is that we're certainly not in the situation to be picking and choosing unfortunately.
-
Given the situation that the next manager will be inheriting, whoever it is will deserve a level of respect for taking the job on and should be afforded support from the fanbase. Russell Martin would be a tough sell undoubtedly, but as with any new manager, they should always be given a chance.

Jamie Vardy: A Legend's Final Home Appearance
FoxesTalker replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
We should always take every opportunity that comes around to show our appreciation for this man. He rebuilt our club after relegation to League One, gave us promotion to the Premier League after 10 years away, and is fundamentally the reason we went on to achieve major success. -
Ipswich seem best placed out of the three relegated clubs to get promotion next season.

“The fans took me in as one of their own and you always want to repay that. They have been nothing short of fantastic for me here. That’s why this Club will always have a massive place in my heart. It’s everything to me. It really is.” -

This is a momentous day on Filbert Way, let's give Jamie the send-off he deserves. Also really marks the end of an era with him being the last player from the greats of that title-winning team. -
Agree with the sentiment, but let's not forget he was complicit in our 2022/23 relegation with some of the comments he made.

Just sent £10 over as a thanks for the 10 years of tifos. Also as a showing of support after the knockback with the Ipswich tifo.
-
Stoke have a tendancy for it as well.
-
The revival in form of our youngest ever FA Cup winner has been a positive to take away from this season. Hopefully he carries the recent momentum into next season and gets given the number 3 shirt if/when Faes moves on.

Just quoting my post from the 10 years of tifos thread.

Forest 2-2 LCFC, post-match thread

The general expectations for this game were very low so to get a draw was a good result in itself, but can't help thinking we might have taken all three points with either of Fatawu or Mavididi available. The season Forest have had speaks for itself and to have qualified for a form of European football is obviously impressive. At the same time though, also feel if they do miss out on the Champions League, they will look back with massive regret of what could have been, because there's no knowing when opportunities like they've had will come around again. Our 2016/17 campaign should have been followed up with two further campaigns in 2019/20 and 2020/21, and we can only look back now with huge disappointment at not finishing in the top four in those two seasons. Granted, our club's decline since has been extreme and I'm not suggesting Forest would go the same way, but the point still stands. -
There's a difference between arrogance and a culture of support which is created because of success. In 45-50 years time, we'll still be talking about the feat of winning the League and Cup in the space of five years. Major success raises standards for any supporter base and that carries through the years.

RVN hasn’t earned the right to take the club into next season and it shouldn’t even be a conversation. The next appointment needs to be a manager for the long-term and someone who is capable of a complete rebuild, even if that would mean a few years in the Championship. That’s preferable to a quick fix type of appointment like Russell Martin.
-
Given what was produced against Blackburn on the final day last season, this is very disappointing from the club. Crowd displays of this magnitude and level of importance are best left to the fans themselves, and I'm partly dreading already it will instead be something generic and unimaginative.
-
The video for that Tifo was also very well put together and the song choice was perfect.
-
The Sunderland Tifo will always be special given how fitting it was for that season. Probably my all-time favourite.
-
The difference between both clubs at the moment is monumental, which is a damning indictment of our downfall in recent years. In footballing terms, they've clearly been a very effective team this season with a style of play that suits their players. For the many of us who couldn't get a ticket for Bournemouth, this will be the last away game of the season so just got to hope we give a decent account of ourselves. The expectations for a fixture like this should never have got as low as they are.

The last man standing of the greats from our most successful era. Vardy, along with the likes of Schmeichel, Morgan and Albrighton, will forever be revered in our city.
