  1. Image edited out as it was already included in the original article.
  2. I’m almost certain this has been posted before, either on this thread or another. Still, it’s always worth a look through this gallery on the club’s website. https://www.lcfc.com/galleries/2283110/filbert-street--the-foxes-former-home?lang=en
  3. This is the sort of game we’ll lose, but hopefully we can build on the four points from Sunderland and Hull away. Not very confident but there’s needs to be a turnaround in performances/results to avoid slipping into the play-offs. That being said, Chelsea was encouraging to an extent.
  4. This was the same for me, came away thinking how difficult the club are to deal with. This was already known to be the case of course, in the main.
  5. Thing is, knowing the club there's every chance they'll bring clappers back for the remaining home games. I've already accepted the state of the club's reputation, which has been anything but reputable for years. The final part of last season should have put the argument to bed once and for all with the clappers, but in truth it was blatantly clear way before then. They simply do not contribute to an atmosphere to be proud of, instead the exact opposite.
  6. I came across this yesterday, and hadn't noticed it before. Looks like it's been recently put in place?
  7. It's clear this international break comes at the right time, in terms of the need for a reset and hopefully getting some players back. The momentum is now very much with Leeds and that 3-1 game was always going to be a turning point. By letting a 17 point lead slip away at the top, we've simply got to hit the ground running in the final 9 matches.
  8. Completely agree, and given the state of affairs, the home atmosphere will become even more important next season.
  9. It's a boost to have Jannik available again, think we've missed that element of control he brings to the side. He will probably come straight back in partly due to rotation but that being said, Coady's two recent appearances have resulted in clean sheets so it's not certain.
  10. Thought they deserved at least a point in the reverse fixture, but obviously a lot has changed since then.
  11. One potential step in the right direction would be renaming even just one of the stands. For example reinstating the Fosse Stand name which is what the South Stand/Kop was originally known as. To add some balance to this thread though, think it’s worth mentioning some positive aspects. The location is an obvious one including the view from the River Soar, also like the engraved bricks on the outside.
  12. This is an interesting one, and would also be keen to know how much of a possibility relocation was.
  13. These two images show how the stadium looked in its earliest days, and the inside especially looks better to me. The second one is more debatable but personally don’t mind the bare look on the outside of the stands.
  14. Yep I’ve assumed this is the case myself, and is likely the club’s same viewpoint with any potential relocation of fans.
  15. There have been some comments recently on other threads about the look of the ground inside and out. So just felt it warranted a dedicated thread for further thoughts, suggestions etc. As I see it, there's a lack of pride in the stadium amongst fans due to its lack of character, which then feeds into the atmosphere on matchdays. Going back to earlier years, there was more originality about Filbert Way. Sure it's a modern style stadium but there's much more that could be done to enhance the feel of the place. It's not as if these changes would be huge undertakings for the club either. Ultimately though there has to be enough of a want from the club's side.
  16. In case anyone wonders, I've started a new account and now back to using my original username.
