  1. Good to see this point raised, very much agree.
  2. This was Swansea's first away win here since October 1950.
  3. The way he felt he could act earlier in the season is symptomatic of the 'no blame, no accountability' culture. Despite openly showing disregard towards the fans, he was then welcomed back as if nothing had gone on, which once again points to the lack of standards and self-respect within the fanbase.
  4. This recent interview is very telling of the culture that exists here. “The kind of squad they’ve built - everyone says it’s a good dressing room but it’s [also] not one where you say something to someone they take it to heart. I feel like that’s a good [thing], he explained. As soon as I walked into the dressing room, I was a bit bewildered because obviously every team is different. The way they operate day-to-day also takes some getting used to. I felt here that everyone just got on with it, whatever the job was. And everyone held each other accountable to maintain this on and off the pitch. It is definitely something I wasn’t used to before.”
  5. So many parallels with 2022/23. Feels like history repeating itself.
  6. Got a feeling Swansea will score three today. Vipotnik hat-trick.
  7. There's only a matchday ticket office these days.
  8. He's already been talked about on here, but can see it being Chris Davies by August.
  9. Good to see this. https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/leicester-city-lcfc-swansea-city-scfc-sky-bet-championship-loros-charity-csr
  10. Two wins this calendar year and one win in the last 15. Yet somehow we’re still in it and haven’t been cut adrift (points wise).
  11. Word on Wednesday’s support. Not many clubs would still draw in a crowd of 24k and have an atmosphere like they did yesterday. The early goal set the tone for both sets of fans.
  12. Not taking the full lower tier says a lot in itself, although that's also down to the running of our ticket office. Further tickets could have been sold but the club chose not to open the last two blocks.
  13. This is the second consecutive season with no ‘bounce’ from a managerial change, so it does say a lot about the squad. The performances (overall) have been more competitive under Rowett, but they haven’t translated into results unfortunately.
  14. There’s been so many games this season which have pointed towards relegation. One win in eight under Rowett so far.
  15. Portsmouth vs Oxford Blackburn vs West Brom Wednesday vs Leicester All on the same day.
  16. Wednesday’s first win in 30+ games incoming.
  17. Hopefully the final two blocks in the lower tier open up tomorrow morning, and the club allow those with one home or away point to purchase tickets.
  18. For virtually any other similar sized club in the same situation, they would do this. No promotion of the extra 761 tickets going on sale either. Unfortunately, the club doesn't seem to have the mindset of taking as many fans as possible to away games, or at least that isn't the case with the current ticketing system. It's why in a general sense our away followings are always at a disadvantage, because no general sale or booking history excludes some of the fanbase.
  19. So the extra allocation in the lower tier brings it up to 3,211. Block WL2 has sold out, with WL3 close to selling out. Hopefully further blocks will open so we have a full stand of away support for this one. The allocation in the lower tier is 1,300, so it would be an additional 539 tickets (approximately) to sell it out.
  20. For those looking at getting tickets in the home end, it’s probably best to hang fire for now as it sounds like the lower tier could be opened up in the next few days.
  21. Yep, apparently the club are wary of the financial outlay if the further allocation in the lower tier doesn't fully sell out. Given the initial allocation didn't reach members, it's hard to believe this would be the case. It's understandable though why Wednesday would want Leicester to take the hit with their own situation in mind.
  22. If we do get relegated at the end of the season, yesterday will be another one of those games to look back on with regret.
  23. The three points were there for the taking yesterday. Another opportunity missed, and it feels like we’re going to run out of games this season.
