  1. First league away game since Preston of course. It's obviously going to be difficult to replicate the away end that night, but hopefully it can be looked upon as the new standard. Let's get close to that again.
  2. Not sure if it's already been mentioned but there was no Fan Cam on Monday. Hopefully it's gone for good, but not holding out much hope as it wasn't included early last season either.
  3. Pleased that the club have in fact done this. Also like the new imagery on Raw Dykes Road.
  4. Judging from his recent Instagram activity, it seems like Kristiansen will be involved tonight. I've thought for weeks there was more than a good chance he would come back into the fold under Cooper. He clearly divides opinion and hasn't impressed during pre-season, but he has got something about him in my opinion.
  5. Thanks for posting this @Quorndon_Fox, not sure I've ever seen this before and always find stadium related stuff interesting.
  6. Hopefully the club will put the Premier League and FA Cup panels outside the North Stand. Don't think they will though unfortunately.
  7. This might have been shared elsewhere but thought it was still worth posting in this thread… https://talksport.com/football/2010850/leicester-city-fans-lost-faith-despite-premier-league-promotion/
  8. Maddison clearly played a part in the 2022/23 relegation (Everton penalty miss etc), but he was also a huge part of what was built under Rodgers before the downfall. He also spoke well about the club during his time here, so it should be a neutral reception in my view. At the same time though, the underperformance and consequential relegation in 22/23 means that any of those players coming back here will face a level of hostility, so it won't be unique to Maddison.
  9. Even aside from these works, expansion does seem to have been sidelined (for a number of reasons). Hopefully it’s more a case of the latter though.
  10. The general assumption was that the club weren't going to make any changes to the stadium until the expansion, so it's pleasantly surprising. Leads me to think this might have been driven by Cooper, it's also of course an indication that the expansion has been sidelined.
  11. The quote is blank for me. Assume you are referring to an earlier image in the thread, when the ground didn't have any panels on the outside of the stands?
  12. This is looking very promising.
  13. The post itself didn’t have an image.
  14. These stadium works will hopefully go some way in improving that sense of pride on matchdays, and also outside of matchdays. This seems like a win for the fans and especially those who have continually lobbied the club about the ground’s lack of character.
  15. The Vichai image is the North Stand side though? Unless these works will be done over both stands. Agree the Vichai panel should be replaced, especially with the statue already in place.
  16. This is the article with that quote: https://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2024/august/08/leicester-city-tickets/ It does say tickets go on general sale if required, but can't imagine that will be the case.
  17. Just as a heads-up, Fulham have made a point of putting this on their website. *Subject to postcode restrictions - Fulham FC will be monitoring bookings and any tickets purchased by supporters who live in the vicinity of Leicester (and local areas) who do not have a previous booking history with us, will be terminated.
  18. In the respect of him going beyond the usual remit of a manager and getting to know a club more deeply, any fan would want Cooper at their club. It's clearly one of the main reasons he is revered at Forest, and even if it is to partly aid his own image, it's still a good way to go about things.
  19. I've often thought Fosse Park would have worked well as a stadium name, original to Leicester and unsponsored.
  20. To be fair, our home record against Forest is a lot better than the away record.
  21. I know your post is probably tongue in cheek but that's optimism in the extreme
  22. Fair point, but starting on minus points means results in those opening set of fixtures will be even more important. Season defining potentially.
  23. Depends on the start to the season though.
