  1. The second half was an all too familiar story and Middlesbrough deserved the point. The overall performance was better in terms of application but aside from that, still not good enough again. To match the work rate of the opposition should be a minimum requirement but it isn’t with some of these players.
  2. This was published five days ago. AOT Board approves negotiations with King Power to revise duty-free contracts: https://www.nationthailand.com/business/corporate/40057534 Aside from King Power, the title of this thread is also very apt for the club’s downfall.
  3. Lose tonight and he’s probably got one game left - Norwich on Saturday before the international break. It’s going to have to be some turnaround from here.
  4. Jordan Blackwell’s article (published on Sunday). Lowest league position after 13 matches since 2010. https://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/seems-leicester-city-come-full-10615950.amp
  5. This article has been posted in a separate thread, but it’s also worth adding in here. https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/leicester-city-lcfc-foxes-royal-british-legion-remembrance-poppy-shirts
  6. I was thinking myself that this article warranted a separate thread. There are very few positives about the club these days, but the remembrance fixture is still one of them.
  7. There clearly needs to be an overhaul of the squad, but unfortunately this is still unlikely to fully happen next summer. Aside from Soumare, Daka and Ayew (2026), the contracts of Vestergaard and Faes expire in 2027, Kristiansen and Winks in 2028, and Skipp in 2029.
  8. The decline continues.
  9. The first of three matches before the next international break. This will be a goalless draw I think.
  10. I can understand the reasons why others have reached the point of wanting a change, but I struggle to see past the fact that the players are once again the common denominator. This is our third manager in the space of a year, and until there is better leadership of the club and there are meaningful changes to the squad, managerial changes will be very surface level. I would also sooner keep Marti knowing that Russell Martin would be a likely candidate to take over.
  11. This is a post of mine from the TV fixture changes thread. The recurring theme of playing Southampton away on a weekday definitely takes a hit on numbers.
  12. Another full away end completely let down again today.
  13. This may have been talked about already, but I think it’s a real shame the club chose not to have a special edition crest (like the design below) on this season’s kits.
  14. There are still tickets showing as available on the website in Block 21.
  15. The away support tonight actually sounded half-decent considering it was a low away following by our standards.
  16. Ah, that's true. My bad.
  17. This isn’t a realistic post, but to continue on the same sort of theme as a few other posters, I’ve almost reached the point of thinking it would be better to just knock down the current stadium and rebuild it on the same site. The acoustics aren’t good enough, and the place doesn’t have enough of a feel about it despite the success. It’s often been said in the past that the stadium was ‘built on the cheap’ and it does feel like that unfortunately.
  18. This sold out before members but it's worth keeping a check on the website, as random groups of tickets can suddenly become available.
  19. It's important not to fall into the trap of thinking another managerial change will solve the deep-rooted issues at board level and within the playing squad. Any manager would be up against it with some of these players, and the board are solely responsible.
  20. I would take familiarity over being in the Championship.
  21. This video might have already been shared on a different thread at the time, but there's some decent footage on minutes 18:20 and 19:25. https://youtu.be/Zs2YSG9I1mA?si=Tad4bLDDpg90DySM
  22. This chant should be spoken about as a problem, not When You’re Smiling. The Ranieri version of We Love You was good but it should have been left alone after that.
  23. The selling criteria being more stringent for 'big' away matches is slightly more understandable, and the demand dictates that general sale/booking history isn't required anyway. It's games like these which are the problem, the club can't honestly believe people would travel to Hull on a Tuesday night to cause trouble. That is supposedly the reason behind them not putting fixtures on general sale or booking history, which just doesn't stand up at all. Therefore, like with home matches until their stance had to become more lenient, it leads fans like myself to think the club are simply using away matches as a way of getting money from memberships. What else are you meant to deduce?
  24. The club are seemingly so committed to this policy that they're continually willing to let seats go spare at away matches. They're failing to adjust to the lower demand for away tickets, and that's in spite of allocations still selling out 95% of the time. It's not as though general sale or booking history would even have to be in place for every away match, which further highlights the lack of common sense.
  25. That's exactly what I'm talking about. The policy is nonsensical.
