One thing that seriously OUTRAGED me last season was seeing Top mugging it at Preston Away in front of the fans. When he came out with Rudkin it was a complete farce. Two blokes that had trashed the club on so many levels, not backed the manager and brought uncertainty over the club trying to steal the limelight. Was furious. Also when we lifted the Championship, Top and his entourage celebrating at the expense of the players.

He's better that Coady. More solid anyway.

I heard the opposite that the club were dialled in on Potter to begin with and didn't even approach Moyes.

He's got to go and should have weeks ago. He's tactically inept but the decision to hire him in the first place must be one of the worst mistakes ever made in the History of the club. Top's ego and vanity project and his 'desperation' to get a big name in will get this club relegated again. Think of the state of the club when you think that we didn't even approach David Moyes. The man who we said would have kept us up. (You could even argue that at the time we had a better squad than Everton, I know strange thing to say when we've just lost 4-0 to them) I could honestly see them hiring someone like Pearson (if he's well enough and fancies it) just to try and win the fans over and give them something to be happy with. Detract from the negative vibes and protests. (Saying that I bet Pearson's contract would be more expensive than a few crates of Singha Beer that fell off the back of a lorry)

I love the fact that Victor Kristiansen could be the first player to be relegated twice with the same club in two years, but in the intervening year achieve Champions League football.

I've thought that too. I've also thought we should be playing 5 across the midfield. You could see it today, we suffer against players like Doucoure who just boss the game. The decision to play Ayew and BDCR was criminal.

Looking back on the game, there's two schools of thought. 1 - Ruud has to be at fault for the selection of Vestegaard and Faes and deploying a terrible high line against a team that press and run constantly and will over-run midfield. 2- Ruud isn't at fault for the shambolic defending that is comical. Watching Match of the Day, I think it shows you how just embarrassing the defence was today.

I know he's been poorly recently, however I'd love to see one man come back in and galvanise the club. Get the fans back on side, and get us running for 90 minutes.

I've heard things at Seagrave are worse than they've ever been.

From what I'd heard a few weeks ago it was expected that he'd go by mutual decision following the Spurs game as those inside the club expected a significant defeat last week. The players are not happy, Ruud's losing his temper at the players more than a ratty English teacher in front of a class of Year 10s. Players not happy with it and he's lost a lot of respect amongst the players. I'd expect an announcement tonight/possibly tomorrow morning.
