I wonder who's the slowest of these three: Ayew, Vestergaard or Faes.
-
If footage of Ward in training exists, where he stops 6-pounder cannonballs fired at him from the spot, and jumps over the bar, then Ruud was justified in starting him against Wolves.

Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official

The more it is disclosed of the inner dealings of the club, the less I like myself for posting things I have been about this and the prior manager. What a rats' nest Ruud has stepped in! -
He is playing the role of the management's clean-up man....and appears to be loving it. Shameful.
-
I apologize for the "stupid". Substitute it for "crude" or "tactless". If I noticed how myopic it may have appeared, then many others would also. Wholly agree that the board needs to be cleansed, but Top is the one paying the bills and spends a hell of a lot of money on this club. If you are serious about your endeavor, then make a banner with the message that would dissociate the Board from the Chairman. Focus on the Board.

Salzburg paid 250,000 euros for him and sold him to us for 30 million. His fair price today is probably 5 million, if that, just for the fact that he played in PL. What a blunder.

Before the window shuts, buy promising young players to congeal into a proper team in Championship next season. Keep Ruud, hold onto Hermansen, Fatawu, Al Hanouss, Buonanotte, Ndidi, Kristensen, Mavididi. See if Vardi wants to play for a nominal salary (if not, throw him a hell of a testimonial). The rest need to go at best prices we can fetch for them, however little that will be. Hire new management. Having done all that, we will be promoted again in 2026. Trying to rearrange the same sad derelicts is what's happening here. Time to look into the future.

Depending on the quality, you could either try your local record store or sell the collection as a bulk lot on eBay. Discogs is for some who is willing to deal with packaging individual titles forever, and dealing with a-hole customers. I am slowly weeding through mine. I have 2,000+ titles, 99% jazz.. CDs have nominal value; I made inquiries with several local stores, who offered peanuts. Will sell the bulk cd lots on eBay (about 100 cds per lot). Vinyl could be more interesting, if you have original pressings in VG+ / M condition. If not, I wouldn't bother, and just sell to the first decent person who comes along.

That is pretty stupid, considering the legendary owner died in a helicopter crash.
-
Wished him good luck until the last game's substitution, now I'm 100% in the "Has to go NOW" camp. Way over his head, lost, incompetent, worst manager in the PL now.
-
Yes. To run a thirty eight year old man for 3 full matches in a 7 day period and wonder why he can't score....some kind of managerial genius! No wonder the 20 y.o. kid has to help him press. What a travesty...
-
Well-said! I do believe that the real culpability lays with the current Chairman. His thought process is baffling. Perhaps he is just a poor businessman, for whatever reasons.
-
What do these people do in training every day? There is zero cohesion. Complete s**t-show.
-
Scored in every match under Cooper. Last six matches - 2 goals.
-
Vestergaard starting last eighteen PL games netted us ONE win. Does the manager enjoy statistics?
-
Even if we flame out of the league, might as well do it in style. Today’s lineup was fun to watch and should stand, except switch Coady for Okoli maybe, and Kristiansen for Thomas.
-
One thing going for him, that Coady and Vestergaard don't have, is that he's fearless, not afraid to go to the ground and to clash heads. Bottom-line: we urgently need a good CB.
-
Had to have been Winks’s worst showing for the club.
-
If no meaningful signings are made, we are 100% relegated. Players know it, fans know it, and so does Rudkin.
-
One week in January has now passed and no signings have been announced.
-
Time to loan out Rudkin. There's a club out there for sure, that would want him. Maybe not a football club...
-
What some here fail to comprehend is how vast the talent gap is between the first and second tiers . Three top clubs in the Championship are now dead last in the Premier League.

Honestly what class player will want to sign for a club that's 19th in the league? When Cooper was let go, we were 16th, 2 points above relegation. We are now 19th, 2 points below relegation. That's a net total of -4 points. Cooper didn't dress Ward, RVN did. Cost us a potential 3 points. RVN is a better looking man, and a legend, that's all for now. Wish him all the best coaching this team. -
Will be interesting to compare the statistics of both managers when they've managed equal numbers of matches. We might be surprised who the real Blooper is...

The Wolves loss was unforgivable. On a positive note, finally the fans have found their collective voice. Tolerating mediocrity is no longer an option, and the management has heard that loud and clear.
