Agree, I'm quite surprised how consistent our record is historically as a club. Fans of other clubs will sometimes try to disparage us as a "championship club" in our overall stature and natural standing when it doesn't tell the whole picture. Our floor has pretty much always been midtable in the championship and our ceiling maybe just outside the top 6 of the premier league, but after our recent success, where we are now is unacceptable. There was a time about 5 years ago I didn't think we would ever get relegated again, considering how far ahead of the promoted teams we were and the talent we had.

You can't compare wolves and Liverpool in that situation. He had just won the title with Liverpool and all of their players that summer. Most of the wolves players have probably never had a conversation with him or knew him as he left there 5 years ago.
