Proved again today why he's a level above our club at the moment. Not happy with his attitude but when he does play he's clearly the best on the pitch.

It's such a weird protest to do though. If you're going to protest best to do it outside the club shop or something before the match. For me personally once I'm in the ground I'm supporting the team (until they let a goal in the 5th minute then I'm dead inside till 90+7 when I leave without clapping or booing)

In general the tempo we played was just so much faster for those 45 minutes against Cov. Ayew was running more in that 45 minutes than I've seen him the whole season and was putting great balls into the middle (which no one was on the end of but you could argue he should be the one there). It seems that when we actually play attacking, direct football, he seems to play well. But when we're not then he slows us down even more than without him on the pitch.

Actually a good point to be fair. However I've just made the same point on another comment that most of this team have had the same half arsed attitude across 3 managers. I genuinely think we need 2-3 years down here, with a manager the fans can get behind and a team he can build. If we think back to Pearson and Rodgers they both had their players for their playstyle but that didn't happen overnight.

No idea if you're agreeing with me or not but please explain. We've had Cooper/Ruud and now Marti all 3 have failed to get the best out of the same players.

Can anyone actually convince me that a new manager will make this lot play any differently? Unless we start playing the players who actually seem to care or try all the youth I just don't see any difference.

Genuinely think it's an improvement if we play without a striker and put another midfielder in. I've been an Ayew defender but he just slows the play down so much. I think he had a great first half vs Cov, but we just need a striker. Watching Kiefer Moore actually shoot on command was something I forgot "proper" strikers actually do.

Honestly, I've been very "who cares as long as we don't go down" for some reason this year. But travelling 3 hours on a coach there and back, and the best part of the evening being going into the "Disney Pub", really is concerning. I didn't celebrate the goal and am just sick of this lot. This year I accepted we were basically going to do nothing and wait 2 more years for a "rebuild" but this is just awful to watch. Don't think I've enjoyed watching us since Brendan and that hurts to say.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Winks play basically every game under Cooper? Ruud is way worse than Marti, I really dislike Marti for the record but at least we are scoring some goals (although it is Prem vs Championship I guess). 9 games in a row with no goals surely has to cement him as the worst manager of all time, and this was with Vardy.
