Steris solutions UK Head Office Breedon Group Lafarge UK Head Office Global Payments Topps Tiles Ibstock Brick Triumph Motorcycles Davidson Homes Bloor Homes David Wilson Homes 3 x Universities Smaller end of the scale in Mattioli Woods and Pick Everard at the more £50-100m turnover businesses. There are also plans afoot to ensure that Leicestershire has more business enterprise zones than any other county in the UK. These are designed to encourage business growth, the ones in plans are: Space Park - to generate 5000 space jobs. Phase 3 is planned to be a manufacturing facility for satellites. This is also used for Climate Change studies. MIRA - Vehicle Test Centre Loughborugh Science Park - To be the land between the University and the M1 DIRFT - Logistics hub Twycross Zoo - Unlikely to happen but they want it to as part of the jobs in ecology & zoological study

The council put a lot of effort into getting IBM into the city which has bought in a load of IT jobs to the city. They are also very hopeful that the space park will generate thousands of jobs. However, it won't much improve the centre as the people will be living and working elsewhere.

It's almost impossible to cancel an appointment once it's made. I suspect it's all part of the ethos of the NHS being free at point of use, there isn't the culture of money collection like there is when you use foreign hospitals.

Each and every time.

Agree with your assessment. It is a poorly worded level of expectation of a cleanliness standard not that it needs to be cleaned by a professional. By portal, you are correct, reject their deductions and make it clear you are prepared to push back all the way. They should give up as it's not worth the hassle over £150. Or just get a handwritten note from mrsunifox21 cleaning services!

Use the portal for the deposit and resist any attempt to retain the deposit that way. We are landlords and the tennant trashed the place and made it very difficult to keep their deposit. We had to provide quotes of £8k to demonstrate why they couldn't have their £600 back and they did evntually agree. In your situation it should be simple enough to ask for the evidence that the cleaning was needed. Furthermore, the requirement for a professional cleaner is just BS unless its specifically written into a contract.

Full stop.

You will have a thread dedicated to you referencing all the shit fans that go home early and can't even be bothered to arrive on time. You may even get a mention from Enzo in his press conference. Call in sick at the KP I reckon.

The summer offering utilising jubilee square makes it unique in the city. Heaving even in midweek when it's warm.

I don't like Lidl meat much, but the quality from Aldi is normally better than most other supermarkets in my experience.
-
Yep. Best pub I've been to in a long time. Weird opening hours though, only really open late on Fridays.

Another post worthy of this thread, Mill Hill Cask and Coffee. What a boozer. Deffo worth a visit.

Gadabout Bottle Garden 33 Cank Street Wygstons House All worth a visit. Bottle Garden gets busy so you may need to book.

Not one for the memory bank but not the worst atmosphere. I enjoyed today. The game ended on 60 minutes once we bought on every appearance padder we had. Another 10 mins with that team would have been nice.

I reckon that's the case. If they are technically at war it would also mean Russia couldn't harvest the resources in the annexed regions as it the area would be too unsafe for that type of infrastructure. The black sea naval base at svestipol is also useless to Russia now as anything they park there gets destroyed.

There are now more mines in Ukraine than in any other country in the world. These and the other defences that Russia have built are also the defences that will stop Russia advancing further into Ukraine. I agree that this war will continue in some form probably forever.

Apologies, I assumed that the government was raising the minimum salary for work visas to £38k from its current level of £27k?
-
My guess is it will have little effect for 2 years. Many come here to study then apply for graduate positions, they get a 2 year student visa which has few restrictions though they can't bring a spouse to the UK. At the end of 2 years our grads then need a work visa and be earning £27k. This jump will start to bite in an couple of years once the current crop of graduates have 18 months experience but won't get paid enough for businesses to want to keep them on.

There will be next to no cost cutting on materials from the major housebuilders as their houses are type approved by NHBC, so spec changes are very difficult for them. Plus they have national agreements with suppliers that means materials are ordered long in advance of being used. They fall down on workmanship and supervision. Typically speaking the houses are generally good with some awful examples. I've been to sites with 1000 houses built correctly but then 1-2 that are completely wrong in every way. The ones with a 5* rating are usually really precious over it and will bend over backwards if errors have been made.

Mash first then move quick once its in so you don't get scrambled egg!
-
Always an egg. Makes the creamiest mash. Its a bit like an egg carbonara that doesn't need cream to be creamy. Also grated nutmeg brings out the earthy flavour in potatoes.

It would have been worth spending a bit more on PUR rather than polystyrene if you decide to do any other rooms in the future. Its approximately twice as resistive to heatloss, so 50mm PUR is worth 100mm of polystyrene. Even better if its foil backed. We bought our stuff from here https://www.secondsandco.co.uk/

We used them on Sun £9.50 holidays as well as boys walking holidays. They serve a purpose but they can be run down. The are 100% all thats wrong with society at times. But then, I have attended a Butlins 80s weekender, that was a special experience too.

I've stayed at prestatyn a few times and it was getting tired. Always enjoyed it though, but of a shame it's gone really.
