I reckon that's the case. If they are technically at war it would also mean Russia couldn't harvest the resources in the annexed regions as it the area would be too unsafe for that type of infrastructure. The black sea naval base at svestipol is also useless to Russia now as anything they park there gets destroyed.

There are now more mines in Ukraine than in any other country in the world. These and the other defences that Russia have built are also the defences that will stop Russia advancing further into Ukraine. I agree that this war will continue in some form probably forever.

Apologies, I assumed that the government was raising the minimum salary for work visas to £38k from its current level of £27k?
-
My guess is it will have little effect for 2 years. Many come here to study then apply for graduate positions, they get a 2 year student visa which has few restrictions though they can't bring a spouse to the UK. At the end of 2 years our grads then need a work visa and be earning £27k. This jump will start to bite in an couple of years once the current crop of graduates have 18 months experience but won't get paid enough for businesses to want to keep them on.

There will be next to no cost cutting on materials from the major housebuilders as their houses are type approved by NHBC, so spec changes are very difficult for them. Plus they have national agreements with suppliers that means materials are ordered long in advance of being used. They fall down on workmanship and supervision. Typically speaking the houses are generally good with some awful examples. I've been to sites with 1000 houses built correctly but then 1-2 that are completely wrong in every way. The ones with a 5* rating are usually really precious over it and will bend over backwards if errors have been made.

Mash first then move quick once its in so you don't get scrambled egg!

Always an egg. Makes the creamiest mash. Its a bit like an egg carbonara that doesn't need cream to be creamy. Also grated nutmeg brings out the earthy flavour in potatoes.

It would have been worth spending a bit more on PUR rather than polystyrene if you decide to do any other rooms in the future. Its approximately twice as resistive to heatloss, so 50mm PUR is worth 100mm of polystyrene. Even better if its foil backed. We bought our stuff from here https://www.secondsandco.co.uk/

We used them on Sun £9.50 holidays as well as boys walking holidays. They serve a purpose but they can be run down. The are 100% all thats wrong with society at times. But then, I have attended a Butlins 80s weekender, that was a special experience too.

I've stayed at prestatyn a few times and it was getting tired. Always enjoyed it though, but of a shame it's gone really.

It also would suit an old school back to goal target man. Someone to occupy the defence while the 8s and wingers do the real damage.

In this case I think we are the pigeon.

Reckon he isnt up to speed with the system yet.

Verstappen and Hamilton in the same garage? Its probably the only combination of drivers that would stop Red Bull from winning every race.

What we get for what we pay its hard to see how nurserys make any money. The staff are very well qualified and experienced and in the main earn minimum wage for it. We pay under £60 a day for childcare for 10 hours including 3 meals. Its a bargain really.

Never forget the no-look assist for Vardy against Man Utd.

It's all a laugh isn't it. Better than other football owners for that reason. They are doing this because they can afford to whereas other clubs are probably struggling but it's trolling in the best way.

7 and it's not even half time!

I don't think they are carpet bombing as it's not something modern militaries have done since the 1970s. I would be surprised if Israel even has the sort of unguided artillery that Russia has started using.

Put some cheese on top and it will look amazing even if it tastes rank

We dont know the numbers killed at this point unless you believe everything Hamas state. The figures for civilian deaths will include all of the Hamas fighters killed in the conflict, so it's also not clear how many civilians have died. It's also clear that Hamas have more to gain by deliberately killing Palestinian civilians than Israel do. This post is for balance rather than support for every action of the IDF. But IMO Hamas kill and terrorise the Palestinians as much as Israel do.

Another suggestion for a decent alcohol free beer. Best one I've tried. Or this pilsner from Aldi is also decent.
-
I see. I wasn't aware there was much difference between Hamas and islamic jihad. I would expected them to wear similar uniforms anyway. The rocket was shown to be fired from the grounds of the hospital then misfired and landed in the car park. That was reported by al Jazeera anyway and was generally accepted as accurate after the footage was analysed.
-
All of the videos of them firing from al-ahli hospital then blowing it up themselves. They then immediately blamed Israel claiming that they had killed 500 in a rocket strike. Thankfully it turned out there were around 10 fatalities. It wasn't that long ago and I'm sure it made the news.

They need to find tunnels at this hospital though. Has a WMD in Iraq feel at the moment.
