The black sea naval base at svestipol is also useless to Russia now as anything they park there gets destroyed.

There are now more mines in Ukraine than in any other country in the world. These and the other defences that Russia have built are also the defences that will stop Russia advancing further into Ukraine. I agree that this war will continue in some form probably forever.

My guess is it will have little effect for 2 years. Many come here to study then apply for graduate positions, they get a 2 year student visa which has few restrictions though they can't bring a spouse to the UK. At the end of 2 years our grads then need a work visa and be earning £27k. This jump will start to bite in an couple of years once the current crop of graduates have 18 months experience but won't get paid enough for businesses to want to keep them on.

There will be next to no cost cutting on materials from the major housebuilders as their houses are type approved by NHBC, so spec changes are very difficult for them. Plus they have national agreements with suppliers that means materials are ordered long in advance of being used. They fall down on workmanship and supervision. What we get for what we pay its hard to see how nurserys make any money. The staff are very well qualified and experienced and in the main earn minimum wage for it. We pay under £60 a day for childcare for 10 hours including 3 meals. Its a bargain really.

We dont know the numbers killed at this point unless you believe everything Hamas state. The figures for civilian deaths will include all of the Hamas fighters killed in the conflict, so it's also not clear how many civilians have died. It's also clear that Hamas have more to gain by deliberately killing Palestinian civilians than Israel do. This post is for balance rather than support for every action of the IDF. But IMO Hamas kill and terrorise the Palestinians as much as Israel do.

I see. I wasn't aware there was much difference between Hamas and islamic jihad. I would expected them to wear similar uniforms anyway. The rocket was shown to be fired from the grounds of the hospital then misfired and landed in the car park. That was reported by al Jazeera anyway and was generally accepted as accurate after the footage was analysed.

All of the videos of them firing from al-ahli hospital then blowing it up themselves. They then immediately blamed Israel claiming that they had killed 500 in a rocket strike. Thankfully it turned out there were around 10 fatalities. It wasn't that long ago and I'm sure it made the news.

They need to find tunnels at this hospital though. Has a WMD in Iraq feel at the moment.
