Number of Russians wanting to risk their lives in a foreign military campaign versus number of Ukrainians willing to defend their homeland probably sees Ukraine with the greater number.

It's a fact that no one cares? Absolutely no one? Because that's what I was calling fallacious.

People are saying that One Direction were the Beatles of the 10s, but I prefer to think of the Beatles as the One Direction of the 60s.

This is very typical, but to claim that no one cares, not a soul is a fallacious belief. They do exist, weighed down by the bureaucrats who measured in cold numbers rather than quantities that have no measure. Some real golden souls trying their best under the auspices of middle management that won't get a bonus with every box ticked, not to mention the people who needlessly invent the boxes to justify their employment, fearful that one day people might wake up to the plethora of non-jobs. They try to do their job properly, but are beaten down at every step by underfunding (though they will be told otherwise, as will the public), told they must fulfill certain criteria within a certain time which is actually impossible to do properly, so they get as close as possible, without cutting too many corners, so as to avoid the withering judgement of their employers. Poor service is rarely caused by the front facing staff.

What I don't understand about private schools is why they're called public schools.

Waterloo is a district in London (also Liverpool, Poole and Huddersfield.) Within London's Waterloo there is a Waterloo Hospital, Waterloo bridge and Waterloo Place. There's also a hamlet named Waterloo in both Scotland and Wales. So defining that the person meant Waterloo Station makes perfect sense and isn't humorous.
