Regarding @Muzzy_no7's not name dropping post... It's not uncommon for people to think that everyone thinks the same as they do, when actually they don't, so one player saying "everyone thinks this" doesn't necessarily make it true (or false). You just have to look on this forum to see how many posters are baffled that others can't see the obvious truth (ie, their own opinion). I think this is especially true of disaffected people. We like to reinforce our grievances by believing that everyone agrees with us. I'm not poo pooing the post, just adding a little salt.

Yeah. I was thinking about this, it was about this many games in that things started to pull around.

Heck of a wait for Martin O'Neill.
-
Has he gone yet?

Not at all, I was just being subtle and I think that not putting free is funnier.

Just been into the supermarket and they wanted me to pay for their range eggs. I call that false advertising!

Wait... what? Bookies win by offering short odds on heavily backed probabilities and long odds on lesser backed probabilities. This is the chief factor in offering odds. Statistics only come into play at the very outset when deciding to set initial odds, though also they will take into account public perceptions as this will more likely affect betting habits. Bookies by no means have some secret database that predicts the most likely outcome, and even if they did, they'd likely make less money since there's lies, damned lies and statistics.

Was it Riccardo?

He's not Noel Gallagher either.

Win this and Man Utd don't beat Brentford at home, then we go above Man Utd. Which probably says more about Man Utd than us. -
If only we were run like Brighton... Oh... wait...

I don't often say this, but... Very stately turtles.

https://www.theguardian.com/business/2024/oct/06/charities-fear-first-class-stamp-price-rise-will-mean-fewer-christmas-cards-sent-royal-mail Make no bones about it, Royal Mail is deliberately trying to accelerate the death of mail so that they can become purely a parcel company.

I'm a postie... It really is, -
Honestly. If you'd told me we'd be one point behind Man Utd after 8 games... Cooper masterclass!

Whilst the UN were giving back Israel chunks of land they hadn't owned for almost 2 millennia, how come they didn't give England back all the bits that are now so-called France? And far more recently I might add!

LCFC winning the Champions League 5 years in a row?

My South African mate Julius could tell you all about his Dutch heritage, but he doesn't want to be a Boer.

I work with Nick Platnauer. Ok, so not the most prolific player, but he played for us in the Brian Little era, then Coventry in the Prem and Cardiff City. Essentially on a par with a player like Ayew. Could you get imagine him delivering your brand new Temu knockoffs in 10 years time?

Charon must be racking it in!
