Should we have a roll-call for the survivors of the Oct 2024 FoxesTalk system purge?

Pants up or pants down? (Just to clarify, him not you)

It's quite fun if you can get over the premise that the police are so dumb they can't notice someone acting ridiculously out of character. It's very much David Mitchell being David Mitchell, but I haven't stopped watching it yet.

Phwoar! Sorry, I didn't complete the sentence.

Could see him as a pundit.

Completely different company. It's a common mistake.

A weird experience I had the other day. It was chucking it down whilst I was delivering mail and parcels to a new build estate. I had noticed that Amazon had been round earlier and they had typically just dropped parcels on the doorsteps. I got to one where there was a parcel on the door step getting soaking wet. I knocked, though I assumed no one was in, but a young woman came to the door, to my not total surprise. I handed her her parcel and pointed out that Amazon had left a parcel on the doorstep and it was getting soaked. She replied that she'd sort it out in a bit and without thanks shut the door, with me thinking, "no, sort it out now. You're here, it's literally five seconds to pick it up and put it inside, dry, before it gets really wet!" I finished the rest of the road and drove by 10 mins later and it was still there, much wetter. Just bizarre.

That would be a good day!

I was thinking that the way things were going this government would be a one term government, but maybe not.

And this is since we've had an organisation in place trying to stop it. Imagine what would've happened without the WWF, RSPB, NWT and the like.

In fairness, haven't been there for 20 years. I just imagined not much had changed. -
Yep. I'm guessing that people abroad will have heard of Nottingham because of Robin Hood (whose airport is at Doncaster )

People like you and I can occasionally get very nice freebies. When I was a journalist for a crappy little business paper I would occasionally get sent free tickets to shows, in the belief from the people sending them that I would write a review. Unless I was going to freelance (and this before the internet was common place, so not even an online review, sorry) that was never going to happen. However, the seats were obviously available, nobody else was having them, so on a couple of times when it was something of interest, I went. Sue me. People who are heads of private organisations get freebies all the time, I've no problem with politicians doing so, so long as it's not someone looking for political sway.

I'm looking at that picture and although I know and actually believe you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover, I'm not at all surprised. What does surprise me is that there's flights into that area. Surely no airline's risking that?

Ultimate cringe is walking past a pub that has a board out front advertising it has Carling, John Smith, Stella, and Strongbow. So why exactly should I go in?

So that's why Rudkin calls Cooper "my preciousssss".
