I once asked a Muslim about how Halal and Kosher were different (you know, because sensible, level-headed Muslims who won't kill you for mentioning Jews actually do exist) because they're quite similar to me as an outsider (infidel) Apparently meat becomes halal by being prayed over. From that point of view, most meat almost certainly isn't halal, unless Muslims have a disproportionate number of meat-eaters.

When you look at the stats around the rest of the team they're either average or good. It's the complete inability to score that's letting us down.

I think the thing about xG etc is that it's very subjective. Goal chances and their grade of difficulty are entirely viewpoint based. Take ons... what exactly counts? Does half-heartedly sticking a foot out count as a tackle? Number of saves, but the GK was standing there anyway... or the sun was in their eyes... or they were fouled, but the ref didn't give it... Very few of these X stats are clear cut and I think you can read too much into them. Sure, they lend a hand to interpreting the game, but I feel there's too many supporters view them like some holy canon that should not be questioned on pain of death. Amen.

Because BRIGHTER and more POWERFUL is better! More, more, moooooore! But I agree. It also seems to be a disturbing trend to have teeny tiny indicators that are barely visible in daylight. I mean, on a BMW, that's fine, but the number of times I'm not sure if they're indicating...

Could you imagine most (obviously not all) teenagers if pestilence, famine or civil war broke out here? They'd ride their e-scooter a few hundred metres and wonder why they haven't got WiFi signal.
