xG is great for digging into a team's direction of travel / general play over a period of time, it's handy to know if Team X's style is sustainable etc. It's useful for forecasting. It's not a like for like substitution for the actual result. Can't believe how many black and white telly owners there are on here man.

People keep saying town "doesn't feel safe anymore" as a throwaway line but apart from an upsurge in Deliveroo folk being helmets I don't think town particularly feels any more unsafe than it has in my 15/16 years going out in it.

Terrace always used to have weirdly sound doorstaff if memory serves me right. Always felt a bit unique in its time in Leicester, there were no other real big bars that you could stay in late-ish that felt like a club but weren't a club. Yeah Tincy was just a bit unsettling tbh – said he'd saved a girl from a sexual assault in Bede Park then took her back to his for some food and a shag. Went in the Volley near Old St yesterday for the second half of Palace / Liverpool, was previously the Drafthouse / Brewdog before they sodded off. Pretty decent selection of keg and a good crowd, tidy place to watch the football if you're ever that way

Brighton's left side of Kadioglu and Mitoma is really tidy, rest of them have been so loose though
