A frog got his DNA tested. Turns out he's part Irish, part British, and a tad Pole.

Actually the young Catherine is probably going to marry her cousin (Hareton) in the end.

I've just finished Wuthering Heights as I am trying to read more classic literature. I recently saw the Kate Bush video again, and what with the film coming out soon I thought I'd give it a go. Oh dear. A book populated by absolute cvnts. The film is marketing it as the greatest love story ever told. Did they even read the book? Because it's definitely not that. It's certainly one of the most toxic and destructive relationships of all time that's for sure. I wasn't a fan of the narrative structure either which is a bit all over the place. An interesting story for sure, but I can see why Emily Bronte only ever wrote one book.

Tommy Fleetwood?

No it's just a shit joke.

Mateta only has 18 months left on his deal though. And Palace fans reckon he's carrying a dodgy knee this season.

I built my last new PC for the first time about 3 years ago. As mentioned it's pretty simple and there are plenty of videos to help. The most intimidating part is screwing down the motherboard, and also installing the processor and cooler, along with not too much thermal paste, then clamping the retaining arm down with a fair bit of force. The rest is simple plug and play stuff with the occasional screw needed. Then the satisfaction of cable management if that's something you can be arsed with, to give it a nice clean look inside. I went for a bedroom PC so it needed to have no silly RGB lights or shining stuff on the inside/outside so I could use it as a media film/tv PC in a dark room. Plus I wanted it as silent as possible with quiet parts like the PSU, fans, cooler, drives, case etc. Stealth PC FTW IMO. BeQuiet is the company I used for this. Here's a pic of it once I'd finished. Black and orange styling of course Nothing flashy looking but effective.

They all look rubbish apart from maybe McCartney.

It's a good fee given his form this season, which has been shite and he barely looks like he's trying half the time. He's a decent goalscorer though and a change of scenery will do him good, to get away from the sinking ship at Molineux. He's decent off the ball as well as a half decent finisher so I think he'll do alright there. He was pretty good last season and his stats back that up. £50m is still £5m less than we could have sold him for last summer to Newcastle so the fee is about right given January signings normally cost more. We obviously need the money to rebuild in the summer once we go down.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
The Bear replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not so in VP's case. He shunned the Mendes links, plus our own recruitment guy Matt Jackson. The club basically gave him the reigns to bring in who he wanted after such a successful start to his stewardship, and he identified several players, some of which we got, some we didn't. The ones we did get included utter dross like Marshall Munetsi (now binned off to France), a supposed AM who just runs around a lot but is a terrible footballer. Jackson Tchatchoua, a RB who has loads of pace but rarely uses it, and can't defend, can't cross and is a terrible footballer. Jhon Arias, an attacker who was successful in Brazil but looks completely lightweight and who does nothing but pass sideways or backwards. Emmanuel Agbadou who looked the real deal at CB last season but has regressed so badly he can't even get in the team and there's talk of him being sold now. David Moller Wolfe a LB who runs a lot but can't cross or do much else with the ball. Bang average and can't get in the team over a young lad we loaned out the last two seasons (Hugo Bueno). We're now getting offers from the likes of Roma for a pittance. And Fer Lopez a young teenage creative midfielder who is incredibly lightweight and had zero impact on games and has now been loaned back to Celta Vigo. He also bought in ex Spurs employee Domenico Teti as a recruitment head which didn't go well and has now been immediately binned. Spot the trend. Most of his signings can't play in the PL and have been binned off already. Only Tolu Arokodare has had any real success up front but there's still major doubts about him technically. -

He's quite a fiery character and has had fallings out at previous clubs, so maybe it works for a while but players stop responding to it. -
Realistic Managerial Replacements

Turned things around for 6 months with some good performances and team spirit, but went to shit soon after. The players and recruitment staff he identified to bring in were mostly useless and he couldn't repeat the previous season's performances, with players suddenly underperforming. There's a reason he's a journeyman. -
This joke never fails to make me chuckle. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A duck walked into a pub and ordered a pint of beer and a ham sandwich. The barman looked at him and said, “Hang on! You're a duck!” "I see your eyes are working,” replied the duck. "And you can talk!!” exclaimed the barman. "I see your ears are working, too.” said the duck. "Now if you don't mind, can I have my beer and my sandwich please?" "Certainly. Sorry about that.” said the barman as he pulled the duck's pint. "It's just we don't get many a ducks in this pub. What are you doing around this way?" "I'm working on the building site across the road” explained the duck. "I'm a plasterer." The flabbergasted barman couldn’t believe the duck and wanted to learn more but took the hint when the duck pulled a newspaper from his bag and proceeded to read it. The duck read his paper, drank his beer, ate his sandwich, paid up, bid the barman a good day and left. The same thing happened every few days for two weeks. Then one day the circus came to town. The ringmaster walked into the pub for a pint and the barman said, "You're with the circus, aren't you? Well, I know this duck that could be just brilliant in your circus. He talks, drinks beer, eats sandwiches, reads the newspaper and everything!" "Sounds marvelous!” said the ringmaster, handing over his business card. "Get him to give me a call." The next day when the duck came into the pub the barman said, "Hey Mr. Duck, I reckon I can line you up with a top job, paying really good money." “Swell. I’m always looking for the next job.” said the duck. "Where is it?” "At the circus.” said the barman. "The circus?" repeated the duck. "That's right.” replied the barman. "The circus?” the duck asked again. “With the big tent?” "Yeah.” the barman replied. "With all the animals that live in cages and performers who live in caravans?" asked the duck. "Of course,” the barman replied. "And the tent has canvas sides and a big canvas roof with a hole in the middle?" persisted the duck. "That's right.” said the barman. The duck shook his head in amazement, and said “What the fvck would they want with a plasterer?”

Civil War will never happen. At least no more than a token show of arms and unrest that would quickly be shot down (literally). It's not the 1860s any more. And the federal government holds too much power over the individual states to ever let them secede unless they allowed them to. Late last year I learned all about the US Civil War as it was a large gap in my knowledge. And back then it took several southern states all banding together and a united population in those states having their livelihoods and way of life threatened to cause a legitimate fight for power to rule themselves individually. Unfortunately that was the right to continue slavery, and I don't see such a huge moral or humanitarian issue that would be such a catalyst today. Not enough citizens in each state would support such a dramatic move even if a few states agreed with each other. Plus the US army is way too powerful nowadays for any one within the US to stand any chance of fighting against them. It's not the inexperienced Union Army any more. It's the biggest military force in the world.

Reform have no idea how to run a government. They need all the experienced people they can.and it doesn't matter to them if they were shit, as long as they win the election and have enough people that have a vague idea of what they are doing.

Definitely gonna be lots of cream being piped that's for sure. (sorry/not sorry)

Blimey, the ref in our game has been sent to the screen for an arm out handball, and he's kept his original decision. Fair play ref. It would have been a harsh one to give but I've seen them given all the same.

After reading about the success of Chinese animation Ne Zha 2 being the highest grossing animated film of all time I decided to give the two films a try. They were ok, your classic "good vs evil" and "you can choose to be who you want to be no matter what your origins" tales, but can't say they were that interesting to me really. I guess it's a cultural thing and maybe the 16th century book that they are based on is taught in schools or something.

And here come the vultures to pick over Palace's bones.

I've been over that island many times driving home from work and people are clueless how to handle them. You either get what happened to you or people just cutting across you.

.webp don't work as they're a crap new format that most sites/apps can't handle without conversion. Best way round it is to screenshot it on your phone and upload that. Like this:
