  1. What is Rodgers obsession with signings like these? Daft hair cut, erratic, no premier league experience. Could have gone and got Craig Dawson but I suppose that doesn’t fit Rodgers narrative. Sadly, have no faith in any of his signings any more.
  2. Yeah, thanks for reminding me of the time we bottled a 15 point lead over 5th with only 14 games remaining and the other time when we were in the top 4 for the whole season until the penultimate match and then even when Chelsea tried their best on the last day to let us in to the top 4, we threw away a 2-1 lead at home to Spurs. “BUT WE SHOULD BE GRATEFUL THAT WE CAME 5TH BECAUSE WE WERE IN LEAGUE ONE 13 YEARS AGO!!!! 🤬🤬🤬”
  3. He needs a haircut for a start
  4. Knew weeks ago he was likely off to Yorkshire. Can’t compete when they almost treble his wages…
  5. Good result today for us with Middlesex losing. Should we beat Durham, it’ll guarantee us at worst a home tie on Friday in the play off (and should that happen there’s talk of it starting at 2pm and it being a day/nighter)
  6. The style of football and boring play isn’t the concern. It’s the lack of leaders, lack of bottle, lack of passion and team spirit that Rodgers has drained this club of and he will leave it on its knees. Players have regressed badly under him. Who has improved under Rodgers individually? Only perhaps Maddison. In 3.5 years he’s been here, he’s signed 2 players that start for us in our best XI. FA Cup win papered over a lot of cracks sadly.
  7. I’ve got two spares as I can’t get the time off work now. Face Value £31 total for the pair and collection from LE2 👍 First DM can have them
  8. I know that Durham are absolute pony in white ball but Nico has to grow a big pair and freshen it up on Tuesday. Steel must come in for Patel. We can’t keep carrying him, Steel can hang around and put runs on the board. Don’t understand how Walker wasn’t selected either today, he can score runs and our tail started really high up the order today and it cost us. As for the new signing, I despair already. Has Griffiths left the club now? Let’s hope Hendricks and Scriven are back on Tuesday. Huge game!
  9. How outrageous that we now lose Hendricks! These teams have 15 man squads, are you telling me that 4 Southern Brave players are injured? Mike, Ackermann and Parky haven’t even played a single minute yet. I hope we go all the way in RLODC, take over Trent Bridge and win it, whilst giving it the biggun in the stands. F*** the ECB
  10. Criminal that Parky hasn’t had a go yet. Genuinely think there aren’t many more effective white ball spinners on these shores than him. But then again, he doesn’t bat like he’s playing baseball and try to hit as many sixes as possible 😴
  11. The same Gary Lineker that “quit” his lucrative Champions League coverage role to watch Leicester in Europe with his sons yet wasn’t seen until Roma in the semi finals. Does anybody still take anything he says seriously since he’s become a political do-gooder?
  12. Ok Hamza
  13. At least he was half capable in the 23s…
  14. Not weird when you see the link between Bertrand and Todgers son!
  15. More appearances in the last 6 weeks at Turkey Cafe than he’s made for us in pre season probably suggests I’m right 👍
  16. I do hope they keep that original roof and feature in the redevelopment (although the plans seem to say otherwise🤬)
  17. He’s more bothered about going Turkey Cafe every weekend than playing football
  18. Not to mention the showsec security gimps, pumped full of steroids looking for confrontation at any possible opportunity and gobbing off to supporters at the L1 turnstile
  19. Has anybody any idea on the history of this building? Always fascinated by it as I drive through Frog Island…
  20. Watched their game against Newcastle, they look in real trouble, nailed on for 20th. I don’t even think it’s a case of their signings gelling, the signings simply aren’t good enough. 🤣
  21. Yeah, I’d like to see Steel up there too. He can stick around and score at a steady rate too. He would compliment Welch well. Patel has been woefully out of form this summer besides a good knock at Headingley, I’d be tempted to drop him instead of Lilley (although I know he’s not the most popular man around atm). Looking forward to Friday, Somerset haven’t started well, weather looks good, first game in front of a home crowd, what could go wrong?!
  22. Nothing short of a disgrace. We are one week in to August and it feels a lifetime ago since the Blast finished. The ECB won’t just decimate the small counties but they are on their way to decimating English cricket as a whole. Would it not have made more sense to have reformatted and expanded the Blast? Rather than this Hundred nonsense.
  23. Agreed. With Ackermann and Hill to follow in and should we hold on to Mike and Mulder returns that’s a strong front 7 for me. Keep faith in Swindells as a good keeper and bat him at 8. All ifs and buts of course but we really shouldn’t have many problems at all in the white ball. Let’s hope that Naveen does return next season too. Red ball is clearly the issue.
  24. Kimber seems to be stepping up too and I’d like to see him batting further up the order next year in the Blast. Granted, we have some poor players but team selections really haven’t helped us either. In fact, it’s been baffling at times.
  25. YouTube stream not working?
