From a Scottish rag. There’s been rumors of a bid from Rangers for a while now… Outcast Harry Souttar will reportedly be allowed to leave Leicester City this month. Rangers appeared to be in the running for the Australia international last summer who has dropped out of the Leicester side since the arrival of boss Enzo Maresca. Reports south of the border stated that the Socceroo and the club were keen on a loan exit for the defender who arrived for £15million a year ago - and he could get his chance this month. The Athletic state that City are willing to listen to offers for the fringe man. He is currently with the Oz squad at the Asian Cup.

disagree. Feel like he was steady , calm and dependable and used his experience well.. played with no frills - that’s what you want in a CB. I do find it amusing though that he’s one of Man United best players this season… but that’s not saying much.. I know..

I dont advise this. tried it once and ended up raising my eyebrows at the same time, very awkward. best to ignore. Stop and ‘ tie a shoe lace’ or some similar excuse.

He would have been the perfect Pearson signing but not the perfect Maresca signing. Not every signing is going to work out. Shame really as I think he has a good career ahead of him!

last time he played in the championship he got player of the season didnt he? think he got both supporters player of the year and players player of the year when he played every game of the season for Preston… it’s also very harsh to judge Iversen’s 12 games thrown into a free falling team in a relegation battle against Mads playing in a lower division with a better organized team/ defense. That’s not to say I don’t think Mads is a better player- he clearly is.. but it’s an unfair comparison and strange to show such disdain towards Iversen because of it.. Oh and Schmeichel wasn’t forced out of the club. He wanted to try a new experience.. rejected the contract offered.

Charlotte FC is my local MLS team. As soon as Smith signed for them they purchased two international slots from another team and I knew he’d be going to Europe for some talent. That would be a right tidy signing for them. If both Leicester and Charlotte are interested there’d be no contest though, surely? I can see them being preferred by a central/ southern American based player but not a European based player.. $9.5m is about £7.5 m.

Carvalho can play down the middle or the wing. Maresca loves a bit of versatility.

it’s Vardy he reminds me of, Not Nugent… the way he can play off the shoulder of the defender… find space… the way he disappears for 15 minutes and then just rockets in a precision shot… his pace ( not quite as fast as Vardy, but not many are) and his strength the way he can shrug off a challenge.. Hes got it in him to be top class and I trust Maresca as the one to get it out of him.

To be fair Millwall would have been well ahead if they had anyone who could finish. They played well. We were very clinical however.

that was a very Vardy-esque performance by Cannon. Silent for 15 minutes then Boom. Out of nowhere he takes his chance. Some great moments of running off the back of the defender too and that chance on 68 minutes would have gone in had it not been saved. Very promising indeed. He’ll get better too with more games..

No offense intended. i think you could get more than $40 if sold at the right place. Like a craft fair.
