  1. Are India trying to do to Pakistan using the USA the same thing that Australia have admitted to intending to do to England using Scotland?
  2. And I thought it was just me that falls over whilst running 3 or 4 times a year (cracked a rib last year).
  3. Just watched Macron's address to France. Ballsy, but I fear he's going to take an almighty kicking.
  4. Is yakking the ball as hard as you can into the ground not a bit dodgy?
  5. Luckily, that's me done watching England out here. So well supported. Hope their form picks up.
  6. Aussies around me are very upbeat. Odds against England.
  7. Ok, lads, if you eant to make progress, time to give The Colonies a damn good thrashing...
  8. That's that then. Farewell, beloved Sir Marc.
  9. And the winner is..... It's Jamie Vardy.
  10. Yes, sat just behind them, they are sound - a bunch of Hibs and Dunfermline fans. I'm wearing blue FBS City Shirt from our relegation season, for good luck, so I should stick out.
  11. That catch by Aqib Ilyas is now the best catch I've seen live. Got me out of my seat. The other 2 in my Top 3 are: Bairstow keeping wicket at Lords v New Zealand 2022 at full stretch just off the floor when we bowled them out in a session and a half. Sheldon Cottrell versus Aus Trent Bridge (2019). He plucked it out of the air one handed on the boundary, about 10 feet in front of me.
  12. They've had a rough few years, and the training ground in Fife idea was mental, but it's a crying shame if they can't get funding and go into Admin. Really enjoyed my trips there, but they just aren't well supported enough to make money under the current structure. Busses leave Inverness for the OF every weekend, and you see people around there wearing OF shirts. Seriously, FTOF.
  13. I got properly drenched, and Mrs Vac will forever say that the weather saved England. Still, I had a boatload of beer, some unbelievable Bajan fishcakes, and I sat in the Sun before the game, so today was a good day.
  14. How is that bowling action legal It's Malinga all over again.
  15. The "Vardy will be staying" bullet point is like saying "here, have a lollipop" after you were taken to the doctor's for an injection as a kid.
  16. There were more security / bar staff / flag wavers than there were people in the crowd last night. It's such a shame. It was US$17 for last night's game. They should make us tourists pay for (or subsidise) local people to get in. If we've come out here, we should be able to stretch to fund a bit extra for the good of the game. And they should give cheap seats to school kids. That's better than empty stands and who knows, they might grow up to be paying attendees.
  17. Super over. Namibia have chucked this, if they don't win it.
  18. Trumpelman is on FIRE Shame the ground is empty.
  19. Didn't know until I saw an advert recently that the golf brand is pronounced "title-ist" and not "tit-lies-t". Luckily I don't golf and hadn't had cause to say the word, but could have been embarrassing if I'd said out loud the word as it sounded in my head.
  20. The England team flew out on Friday morning and landed late Friday afternoon, Barbados time. I'll be at the game on Tuesday (Namibia v Oman tomorrow, first) We better bloody well win on Tuesday, because Mrs Vac (Scottish and cricket-mad, who I am out here with) would never, ever, let me live it down, if we don't. Jinxing it, obvs, but we are quality and I think we have every chance.
  21. I'm abroad, and I've got Alan Smith on co-comms getting about as excited as he ever gets (i.e. deadpan), so it could be worse.
  22. Will make it all the sweeter when Leicester City win the Champions League the year after next.
  23. If you didn't see this coming, you aint got eyes.
  24. Former Leicester City youth team player and Glasgow Rangers Manager, Mark Warburton spotted hiding in the undergrowth on Glenhills Boulevard, on his way back from Eyres Monsell with a half bottle in his back pocket:
