Will be shame if we’re forced to sell in the Summer. Obviously not a top PL player but solid. Pretty exceptional at Championship level though and had a very good season overall.
-
All a bit worrying isn’t it. I actually think the players are really trying as well. The work rate and effort has definitely been there the last two games. They just look absolutely shot confidence wise to me…and clueless when it comes to the big decisions in games. We need a change. System, players, whatever. Not sure changing the manager at this point will achieve anything but I wouldn’t be against it. Four massive games now.

Ndidi is back to being unbelievably bad I see…
-
I love the blame game as much as anyone, but really?
-
I thought the only silver lining of the relegation would be that I wouldn’t have to watch him play for us again. …but no, had to watch another season of him. He’s just a parody at this point and nobody is going to take him off us in the Summer, regardless of the league we’re in.

What a hilarious waste of money this signing this was. Great to have around the place though. (Whatever that means)

Daka to prove all the naysayers wrong tonight. This is his time. We’re talking Matty Fryatt in League One levels of performance.

Having a negative opinion of a footballer is hate speech, didn't you know?
-
Manager’s moaning about scheduling is an absolute embarrassment. ….It’s usually the ones with the bigger squads doing it as well!
-
Hmm. Sounds a bit like our fans talking about Ipswich.
-
Always been of the opinion that most manager's would be doing very well with our squad at this level. Still feel the same.
-
The lack of dynamism is why he wasn't picked up by a PL team in the Summer - And why a lot on here were a bit underwhelmed by the signing. Good player, but a bit limited. Wonder what the promotion bonus is on his salary, knowing us it will be decent!
-
Yeah but Guillem Balagué says he's a visionary.

“We will get better as the season goes on”

This is the only way to play nowadays. People who don't enjoy it are dinosaurs who refuse to move with the times and appreciate the technical nuances. You all need to keep paying your money and be happy about it. -
Is this the most stressful season as a Leicester fan ?
James_lcfc replied to marcymarc666's topic in Leicester City Forum
It's only over the past 4-5 years that I've managed to not let the football ruin my mood or get me stressed/angry. It's nice. It is a double-edged sword though, as cutting out the lows, does the same for the highs, or at least it has for me....and it's the range of emotions is what makes supporting a football team great really. I still celebrate a Leicester goal, but I'm not bouncing round the room anymore. I prefer it over being furious when we lose, but I don't particularly begrudge people who take a ride on that emotional rollercoaster - Not necessarily a waste of time. -
Tough night for him last night, but the build up play was slow and he was doubled up on a lot of the time. He's one of our match winners so can't really be dropped (rested) unfortunately. He's been a fantastic signing and I still think he could do well in the PL - He just needs support...and ideally a player on the opposite wing who can carry the burden, which Yunus couldn't really do last night.
-
Always thought he was a good player who needed a run of games and a manager who fully backs him. Must admit I’m backtracking on that opinion a bit now…🙃

Second half was especially bad. How have we lost that though? Fair enough we didn’t deserve to win but neither did they! Unbelievable.
-
You at least got the impression that Amartey knew he was dog shit!
-
Faes might be one of my least favourite Leicester players ever. Genuinely.
-
Definitely agree, but he’s done well playing there at this level - Should be doing better than this.
-
I actually think we’ve looked reasonably sharp in possession and have done OK. Lack of goal scoring opportunities is definitely a concern but it should come. I know Millwall haven’t pressed high, but they are working very hard when we get over the half way line - They can’t keep that up. Ndidi looks knackered though, needs to improve or be taken off soonish.

Leicester 2-1 Birmingham POST MATCH.
James_lcfc replied to SecretPro's topic in Leicester City Forum
You’re definitely right with that. …but the way we play should be more suited to teams playing with a bit of desperation. You’d think they’d be a bit less likely to sit back at this stage of the season - Especially at home. We should be able to pick these teams off I we improve the performance levels a bit. Easier said than done I suppose. -
Nowhere near? There's only 4 players in the whole league with more G/A than him for a start? I'm not sure I've seen anyone better in all the games I've seen this year.
-
The ironic cheers were every time Fatawu got the ball? Presumably because he wasn't been used as much as the fans wanted - Nothing to do with Faes? Not that I care if he was annoyed with the fans though - Be great if he tried forcing his way out at the end of the season!
