There are unrealistic, deluded and entitled fans in every fan base to be fair, I don't think we're much worse than others - We just have a brilliant and very active forum full of people posting their opinion! I guess I'm somewhere in the middle - A little concerned to be padding the squad out with a >30yr old looking for his last decent payday, but also realistic that we're cutting our cloth accordingly...especially with squad players.

If he renews here, it'll be because he couldn't get anything better...and that will be due to fitness issues, and the fact that he just isn't very good anymore. (Yes yes I know he did well in the first half of last season) Just an opinion...before people get upset.

Not an easy job is it! Winning the Championship was a good achievement considering where we were, but staying up this year would absolutely dwarf it.

Absolutely. The Chelsea thing doesn't irk me particularly either. We have fleeced them for Drinkwater, Chilwell and Fofana in my opinion Just about made the money back they should have paid us for Kante. KDH deal seems fair market value, so we'll call it square with them now!

Always amuses me with Fofana especially - Same fans calling him a rat etc for forcing his way out were the ones loving it when he did the same to Saint-Etienne. Just the circle of life football.

I think Winks’ game is more reliant on ‘Enzoball’. As much as I like Winks, I’d rather have KDH next season if I had to choose - Just that little bit more dynamism and still improving. Agree on the fee though - It’s probably fair all things considered.

I understand we have to sell KDH, fair enough. ...but I really wouldn't want Casadei back here as part of the deal, that would be a bit grim.

Depends if he wants to stay in England or not I guess. He'll have to stay with us if he does. I just really can't see another PL team wanting him. High wages and pretty poor technically. We're the only ones stupid enough to give him what he wants now.
