Watching him try to sprint live is like watching the world in slow motion. Jannik would beat him over 100m, I'm sure of it. Having said that though, if he improves defensively he can go on to become a really good player. His passing is phenomenal.

Probably Winks’ first bad game for us.

I know every game is a possible three points. ...but this one feels big. -
He almost certainly opted to have the surgery after the deal fell through. Timing thing.

What Happens if we don’t get promoted

Well those of us sad enough to post on an LCFC forum will still be here regardless of what happens this year, won't we! ...but as we saw in that early 00's period - It could get miserable -
Very impressed with him. Great to have some depth in that position.

I've gone over this before, but that's just nonsense. Take last night in isolation - I'd say the majority had Hamza as their MOTM. Wanya was widely praised. Rightly so on both as well. The Ben Nelson thread is full of people commenting how he's going to be the next big thing...and he's only played a few games! (I'm fully aboard that train as well though btw). Raikhy looked like he was playing in a different time zone last night. Absolutely nowhere near the level. Don't really see anything wrong with expressing that opinion - It's just what I saw on the pitch. It's weird that people get so defensive.

He might be my favourite player in this squad. Class act.

Yep. Hamza, Yunus and Vestergaard were all very good tonight. Got to be a little confidence boost after the last two games. Great stuff. -
So much industry and he does have a bit of quality. Surely he should be playing regularly in that #8 role at the moment??

Enjoyable game really, pretty even overall. -
Nobody likes to slate young players. Why not just call it as you see it regardless of age - He was absolutely miles off it. Bit concerning if that’s the best we have in the academy at the moment.

Is that Raikhy a competition winner? -

Very hard not to be reactionary after watching that. Straight to bed I think! -
That is the best 45 Vestergaard has ever played for us. Probably Fatawu’s worst. KDH and Mavididi linking well. Game is on a knife edge. I’m nervous!

Probably QPR's most sellable asset. Must be a big blow for them.
-
Very hard to call the game tonight. I thought they were marginally better at our place, but it was very annoying that a scruffy goal decided it. Desperate for a performance!
-
He wouldn't be playing for us if he was perfect, but I love watching him play. I think he's capable of doing well at the level above as well. Just a really good signing.
-
He's a pretty experienced International player. It should be no surprise that he's good at Championship level (when fit of course). He has 14 games left to finally contribute before we bid our farewell's!

Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 Post Match Thread

Yep. I noticed last night that his positioning is really good. Was always coming inside at the right times to block passing lanes when we weren't in possession. He's still not match fit either. With a run of games he should be really useful at this level, and our best alternative to Wilf in that position. -
Scapegoat? We’re top of the league and cruising, why would we need a scapegoat? People are just pointing out that he’s not particularly good.

Cov at home and Sheff Wed away are the only games that spring to mind immediately to be honest. Very fortunate to only concede one in both of those.
