Ridiculous He's had ~20 minute cameo's in games that have been largely dead attacking wise. ...Having been out since what? May?
-
It's a tricky one in terms of resting players. I'd play full strength unless anyone is particularly tired. They monitor the players HR etc pretty closely now, so they'll be keeping a close eye on fatigue levels. I think we would still win on Saturday, even with making a lot of changes. It's just 8 days rest would leave players a bit rusty, and Ispwich will be sharp after a big game with Leeds... Obviously the opposite could be true, but that's the way I'd go.
-
Done well the previous two games, but I'd say he was poor overall last night. Still think he could be the best option we have in that position though...
-
Maybe there were a few frustrating elements, but last night was thoroughly enjoyable. I guess our play style was more dictated by Birmingham and how weirdly aggressive they were, but it would be nice to see more of that. Further highlights Rooney's incompetence really, as that is not the way you should setup to play against us - Whether he saw it as a 'free hit' or not!
-
Still like the look of him, but he’s in desperate need of a little run of starts now - Like Daka has just had.
-
I know it hasn’t been our usual completely controlled and measured performance… …but that was my favourite half we’ve played this season. Loved it.
-
Below average PL players can look good overnight if you get relegated though! Vestergaard and Faes are in that tier of players that can probably get by in the Prem, but that’s about it. I’d be very concerned about relying on them next year if we do go up. Can’t really comment on Souttar, as we haven’t seen enough of him.
-
Aren’t you? It’s the gap to third that’s more important, whether that’s Leeds or anyone else.
-
Still looks to be a bit rusty as is to be expected, but I am encouraged by what I've seen in the (very) few minutes he's had so far. Always looks to shoot and looks like he can do off both feet. Definitely has a presence about him too. Looking forward to him getting more opportunities come Jan...

Millwall always my favourite team to play with on CM 01/02. Absolute treasure trove of a squad. Neil Harris would always be first out door though. Rubbish!
-
Really enjoyed that. Not perfect, obviously, but an entertaining watch.
-
Kante was the best player in the team that year. Obviously that's just an opinion, don't expect anyone to agree, but saying it's disrespectful to anyone else is a bit weird. Pretty much every player in the squad was phenomenal.
-
Are you just referring to the media and wider football world though? Our fans were waxing lyrical about him being unbelievable extremely early. As another poster mentioned - When he came on against Bournemouth away, you could tell there was something different about him...and he played left wing IIRC!
-
Yeah, fair enough. I did only say that I thought he was in that next tier of players, slightly below the very top level! The devil's advocacy is over now though...I've come aboard the world class train!
-
Yeah that's a good point. You might struggle to find someone that thinks Vardy was world class outside of Leicester fans though? I'm not sure on that, just a hunch. Like I said, I don't want to argue this!
-
Just not quite the tidiest technically, which surely has to be a prerequisite if you want to be considered 'World Class'? I don't know, I'm not really up for a debate with me being against Vardy...I'm a fan boy too!
-
Definitely an argument for it. Just the one level below that in my opinion though. Absolute club legend.
-
Very much this. We had two genuinely world class players in our team that year - Which isn't something I've ever seen before or since. (I didn't start going to games until '92 before anyone starts!) Other players have done much more for the club, of course they have, but Kante was the best I've seen play for us.
-
The bold bit is probably correct, isn't it? He is a waste of air though...can't argue with that
-
Would be great for us if he can get a run of games and goals now. He might actually retain some re-sale value if Enzo still doesn't fancy him. Really is calamitous having him sit on a Championship bench with how much we paid for him.
-
Works hard, is quick and can finish. Yes there are some glaring weaknesses to his game, but he should be brilliant at this level. With a run of games he’d be as good as Kel and JV have been anyway, I’m pretty sure of that.
-
Actively makes us worse, doesn’t he.
-
The same Sean Dyche who is sitting in 10th in the PL with a dogshit squad? (Yes I realise they aren’t 10th, but you know what I mean!)
-
Is he 'tiny'? Can't say I know much about him, but there's a a photo of him taking instructions from BR before his he came on against MK and he's quite a bit taller than Brendan. Yes I know BR is about 5'5, but still! Doesn't look particularly skinny either, and that's before his injury.
-
😂 Great effort to get up with KDH at the end. Was brilliant. I had similar thoughts as I mentioned previously during the game though - Didn’t think he was particularly good today in general. I do like him though…I need to make that clear! 😅
