Ndidi and Soumare center-mid pairing is different levels of shit isn't it.
-
I thought the same to be honest. Reminded me of young Grealish actually - Clearly capable but loses the ball so often that he's often a hindrance to the team.
-
Do we!? If I wasn't working I'd be pretty annoyed I'd wasted 45 minutes of my life watching that
-
He gets a clean slate from me for this season. Slate won't be clean for long though so he's going to need to hit the ground running!
-
Do we go into this coming season, without any new incoming players?
James_lcfc replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
The influx of youngsters should give us the refresh you get from new signings. The squad seems massive - We desperately need to get players out. It would be great to get a really promising striker in, but if we have to go with what we've got I wouldn't be too worried. Championship isn't great. -
Good shot stopper and brilliant with his feet. Could be a bit more commanding of his box I suppose. Not sure why you're baulking at him being worth that tbh - I'd say £35m isn't too far off his value.
-
All these links have to be his agent, surely? He was available for free last season…we literally couldn’t give him away!
-
It’s OK to say he hasn’t been very good for a few years Still a legend. I thought someone would pick him up as a PR move to be honest. Serious clubs won’t consider him now though.
-
They have had quite a while now to get on top of this. Getting silly.
-
Cheers. Back to a sensible approach then. When I moaned on here about the charge last year, people told me that it was impossible to provide them for free nowadays due to all the costs involved, and that I was naive for expecting it. We must be really flush with cash this year then!

Are all the pre-season friendlies free to watch on YouTube this year?

Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)
James_lcfc replied to CloudFox's topic in Transfer Talk
I've been banging on about how terrible he is since his first game pretty much ...but that was because we were a Premier League team and still (just about) had top half and above aspirations. Those aspirations have fallen off a cliff now though and we find ourself in a very different position - Faes is absolutely fine for this level, in fact he's actually pretty good. We should be keeping him now unless we get a pretty decent offer (which won't happen!). -
He said he's been at Leicester quite a bit since leaving Everton as he's good mates with Rudkin. Think it was Lineker's podcast. No need to panic...yet.
-
Long contract and big wages on offer? Doesn't sound like us!
-
Probably a hard deal to sort to be fair with the contract we put him on here...

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)
James_lcfc replied to lcfc_forever's topic in Transfer Talk
Output wasn't great last year but he's clearly a brilliant footballer. Pretty much the only reason I was quite looking forward to watching us play this season. If we can afford to keep him we should. Even if it means no new striker and relying on Patson up top. -
Best to keep him now we're playing at a lower level. Nobody is paying £9million though, so we probably don't have a choice anyway!
-
Stephy Mavididi (no real rumour, some clubs "interested.")
James_lcfc replied to Tuna's topic in Transfer Talk
I like Stephy, would be disappointed to see him go. Surely it would take a pretty decent offer for us to sell? We need him this year. -
12 years isn’t an unusual age gap in football? He was playing alongside Vardy who is 23 years older than him…that’s a bit different!

Don't you just hate fence-sitters!

If we can get a few players shipped out for once and maybe bring in a few fresh faces now... ...I might start to get excited for next season! -
‘The next Trey Nyoni’ is a bit harsh! Still only 17 and already has senior appearances for Liverpool! Probably wouldn’t have many more if he did stay here…
-
Never know what's around the corner so I'd be telling him to go for the longest contract paying the most money if it was my son. Not necessarily the best advice though as getting lost in a big club could stunt his progress so much that it ruins his future earning potential. If he's as good as we think he is though, he'll be fine either way.
-
His passing and distribution is actually probably top half PL level - It’s just every other aspect of his game is, as you say, lower Championship at best. Harry Winks is similar - His weaknesses aren’t as pronounced as Vestergaard, but they’re not far off.
-
Watched him closely yesterday for some reason. Somehow managed to surprise me with how bad he was One of the worst signings we’ve ever made when you take the fee/wages into account.
