  1. I explained why in a previous post.
  2. A lot of people are in denial about Karoline Leavitt… the downside being she shares the same views and trump but you can’t deny she’s got some cracking hooters. It’s a dilemma every time I see her addressing the media
  3. Saw someone on a cookery programme at the weekend trying to convince me vegan pigs in blankets are in for 2025…some marinated carrots wrapped in dairy free puff pastry - it’s walk out on Xmas dinner territory if they ever got served up.
  4. Good post. Not only has the girl and her family got to deal with this for the rest of their lives - it’s going to cost about £1m to keep them inside for 10 years. We’re all paying for this. I don’t think people would be so blasé about these kind of things if it was their own daughter or younger sister.
  5. Hope they get put inside for a long time for attempted murder. Will be following this case closely - pass on best wishes from everyone at Foxestalk - parents, family and friends must be in bits.
  6. My thoughts are Nelson needs to be eased back in, his injury record is poor and we don’t want him getting immediately injured again. Bring him back gradually over the next 6 games and he should then have a better chance of playing the rest of the season, I realise this view will mean CPR for some posters but…
  7. Stolarczyk Aluko Faes Vestergaard Thomas James Skipp Fatawu Bobby Mavididi Daka 0-2 (Vesty and James)
  8. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cd9zygpn81jo.amp The right wing propaganda machine the Daily BBC are even reporting it
  9. How is this guy? recent article says he’s still in hospital https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c78vnr7vykko.amp
  10. Don’t get wound up about it - people will literally defend this type of news and instead call out the failings of the news outlet. It’s pretty sick tbh
  11. Well this is the argument isn't it, these kind of policies, in my view are going to severely stunt economic growth and productivity of the UK - but what do I know!
  12. It's more cost effective to have kids if you are also on benefits.
  13. That is a fair point and I'm with you on valuing time - out of interest are you at the start of your career or towards the end? Depends how financially independent people are, some people might be required to take that job for £5K more a year to feed their 3 kids and pay their high mortgage
  14. How can you measure something has improved with a non existent baseline?
  15. Is this source data reliable given the Youth Endowment Fund will want any data to show progression in violent crimes involving or against children? Just a thought.
  16. I'd be interested on the data behind that? - I don't want to believe that's it's true but it might be better reach from the media.
  17. To summarise there isn't enough cash for people to have more than 2 kids - for reasons mentioned above. The cost of almost everything is completely out of control, so just to keep your head above water you have to be on a decent wedge these days - without many luxury's.
  18. Most people with kids would probably not feel safe and / or irresponsible for doing that these days, the country feel much less ''safe'' particulalrly since 2000 onwards. I agree with you, it's what I used to do when I was a kid, albeit 10 years younger than you.
  19. Covid was an opening for people to WFH and many can't seem to adjust returning back to the office. I guess the lockdown dogs aren't gonna walk themselves.
  20. I don't really care about the ''back story'' if there is rape or stabbing involved. It's just a general frustration that serious crime doesn't get the sentences it deserves, just a general point and not a hill I want to die on tbh.
  21. He got a fair sentence for what he did. My point was we see time and time again, weak sentences for people that commit serious crimes - Rape, GBH, Robbery, Firearm offences etc but we then see OTT sentences for people that post stuff online - before you come crying to me I realise in the case of JB it was a bit more than just a few things posted online - I think generally, ''these days'' meaning my reference to 2025, it can be a bit disproportionate. One of the reasons is prison capacity probably. FYI anyone can give responses on here, there isn't a right to reply on every point made - we aren't in court, this is a forum to discuss footie and tittle tattle about current affairs or birds you fancy off the telly, it's not that deep. So apologies if I don't come back to you on every point raised.
  22. Eh...Can you do the maths?
  23. That's the difference between top players and average ones, top players will have good performances week in week out with the odd off day.
  24. 2025 I'm afraid.
