I was briefly in Hinckley on Saturday, it's a shame we didn't cross paths, we could of chatted over a coffee over our alignment on UK Politics

I'm not holding out much hope it's Dan Ashworth either. But got to wait and see

I think our only hope is we get a capable DOF in who can build a from the bottom upwards, including a good manager at this level. We aren't going up this season, or going down. So I think it would merit waiting and seeing what the new guys plan is.

Apart from the actual decline coupled with the increase in numbers, or is that just pure coincidence?

Yes you can stick it in an aggressive fund. My whole pot is in a 6/7 risk fund, but I’m in my 30s so not bothered. 23% growth this year

But we need to hire someone with a good reputation and a history of doing a solid job, Huth is a massive throw of the dice. He’s never done that role before - so we would be repeating the same mistake of putting someone in a role who doesn’t have the required experience to do it - aka Rudkin. This is a key appointment and it has to be head over heart.

Well it’s quite clear he isn’t selling up or going anywhere -
Correct, I saw that they were freeing the threshold's until 2030 instead of 2028 - and with inflation that does have the same effect. OAPs on the hook for tax from next year!
-
Well it is a U turn, a welcome one too - there has been complete uproar from within their own party and the general public raising income tax when pretty much everyone is struggling. If they hadn't received such a monumental backlash they would of gone ahead and done it.

I'd imagine most people wont be chanting this during the international break but it could ramp back up when we're back after the international break.

I'm guessing as our city is very diverse compared to others (not as many people drinking alcohol) and 2 uni's where their first thought isn't to go to a pub with cask beer, it won't get any better anytime soon unfortunately.

Economic growth slowed to 0.1% in latest quarter. Should be a rate cut in Dec now I suspect to 3.75%
