Gave it up after 17 years - just couldn't be bothered ruining every other weekend, its 6 hours out my weekend watching that tripe under the current ownership. I've not missed it one bit, I watch if the games are on sky, and listen on the radio if I'm in the car - but having the power to switch off the TV and do something else is nice.

Saw some tattle on X that Whelan is going to a role at Celtic, could just be rumours.

Agreed I can see much better in my wifes 4x4 than I can in my saloon, which is already a low car

On my old car I had automatic dimming and full beam control, it was awesome, trouble is I got used to it and now just end up driving full beam everywhere by accident.

My dad first introduced me to Fawlty Towers as a kid and I can recite most of it word for word - one of the best series ever made IMO. She played the foil to Basil so well, an incredible innings for her! -
Starmers policies have been as far from the left as possible tbh - treating people equally? A bit like pulling the winter fuel allowance and attempting to cut financial support for disabled people, which thankfully didn’t pass.

I do

Fan base hasn’t got it in them - too worried about not missing games, don’t forget LCFC is some people’s entire lives. Needs a hard reset on match day but not a chance
-
Forget any plane or van. We just need everyone to boycott the next home game. Not a prayer though - as some people seem incapable of missing a 90 minute game as a one off - because they like sitting next to the people around them - don’t forget.

We could appoint Alan Carr and he’d do a job - at least it would be flamboyant

Not renewing my season ticket was a masterstroke -
My condolences. We did it on our old house and moved out to parents as was just not practical to live there over the winter - it is really stressful and we had a 2yr old at the time, it is worth it in the end which I heard on loop throughout, you ALWAYS spend way more than you think. I think we budgeted 50k and spent 75k, that was 5 years ago so not sure what things would cost now, probably eye watering - key is to have a good black book, pay cash (sorry HMRC) and cut back on fancy stuff you’re Mrs is likely to suggest when you are finishing it off.

Yeh well it won’t be anyone from the government getting fired. How on earth did he only get a 12 month sentence? You get triple that for an ill thought out tweet
-
Not angry about anything - I think free breakfast clubs for the masses is a daft way to spend government money. so someone who earns £250k has the same access to a free breakfast club as someone who is on universal credit? It’s just stupid.

It should be “free” to those who are on some kind of benefit, not the whole population. Completely daft use of government money.
