Tried to play Red Dead Redemption on PS Now last night - absolute horseshit. The service that is, not the game. So laggy, and the resolution is poor. This can't be a popular service for Sony can it? Seems like they've dropped a bollock a bit in not making the PS4 backwards compatible, and cobbled together this piss-poor alternative. I'd rather pay the monthly subscription fee for a one off download.

1 week. I think I only really need 2 days for Reykjavik, so other than the 'obvious' highlights, I'm not yet sure what else to fill my time with. I've got a guidebook arriving today so hopefully that will provide some inspiration. I'll be taking my DSLR so I can ponce about taking some wanky photos - fingers crossed I'll see some of the northern lights. I do enjoy a bit of a hike, but a bit worried it might be too cold as I've not got any specialist winter gear.

Looking forward to trying some ludicrous cuisine while I'm out there too. Have been looking at hostels as I'm going on me tod and might be nice to meet some folk, but I think I'm getting too old for that these days.

Got a trip to Iceland for a week next month. Booked **** all other than the flights so far. Any tips on bits not to miss and decent (and not eye-wateringly expensive) places to stay? If I rent a car, will the roads be passable outside Reykjavik this time of year?

After not owning a console for years, I bought a PS4 Pro just before xmas and have been spunking my wad on games ever since in an attempt to catch up on the past 10 years or so of gaming. Enjoying the daft but entertaining Uncharted trilogy, really like the design, feel, and difficulty of Bloodborne, and the Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection arrived today. Got the latest CoD but it's not my thing really, probably because I'm a bit shite at it. My question is, are there any key titles that have come out over the last few years that I should look at picking up? I'm talking PS3 onwards really, as I've not owned a console since the PS2 (!) - games which were genre defining, or just real good fun. Not arsed about the latest graphics - much prefer a good story or original design.

Some of the self aggrandising pats on the backs here are laughable. Do you really care if your opinions on a player are seen by others as 'right' or 'wrong'? I think it's fair to say Amartey is a limited footballer who tries hard and made terrible decisions in this evening's game. He's certainly not the best player to pull on the shirt, but he's not the worst either. I don't understand some people's need to form such a black and white view on our players.

The guy is clearly a talented footballer, but I'm not yet convinced by him defensively. Can plant his feet at times and gets caught out of position. Think he'd be better in a three, but is a good age and still has bags of potential to improve further.
