  5. Who recalls the Duracell advert with the rabbits? running endlessly for far longer than the others with lesser quality. Shinji reminds of that, he never seems to stop ! Fantastic work ethic, can't fault him.
  6. Are they local, any idea what gigs they have coming up, where they can be seen or do they have a facebook / twitter page? Just like to see them again.
  7. Who were the band playing outside the ground today. As an old fogie (I'm 63) they sounded good and the female singer has a very good voice. I quite enjoyed listening to them.
  8. I am going to Germany in a couple of weeks. How can I download from bbc I player. Is there any software to fool it so it thinks you are in the UK? I am going to Germany in a couple of weeks. How can I download from bbc I player. Is there any software to fool it so it thinks you are in the UK?
  9. Met a fair few. Chatted to Englebert seems a nice guy. Sat drinking till about 4am with a few famous bands in the early seventies, The Sweet, Hot Chocolate, Wizard and he who should not be named. Initials G G. Met Matt Elliott several times as he used to frequent my local. Dean Richards and several tigers players also been in there for a drink. Most famous other than Englebert though has to be when I sat at a bar drinking with none other with Michael Caine, he is a really cool guy.
  10. Shouting out to all, PRIMA TAPPA WEST HAM , WHO'S A BORDO?
  11. What the............. The bus only has 6 more trips then it will have "Out of service" displayed on the front. Where is the bus graveyard? I'd like to send it a note saying "Thanks for a bumpy ride over the last 10 years, but you finally made it to the promised land". Will shed a tear for you old friend, R.I.P.
  12. Think it's time this bus had a change of name. Suggestions?
  13. Sitting in a hotel bored, thought I'd listen to this tonight. Could keep me amused.
  14. Difficult to say as we have not yet seen enough of him. However talk is that he impressive on the training ground. If the senoir players and management are saying this then he could well become a very good player.
  15. It's going to be really full on here on the way to our next game, so move on up all, standing room only. We ain't fitting no plastic seats either. Now roll up, roll up for the greatest show in town. See history being made.
  16. Brum is easy to forget! well done all, great support as usual. Now who's up for a skinny dip in the sea at Bournemouth?
  17. I remember the Blackburn match too.
  18. Seeing the scenes at the ground yesterday with thunder and lighting. Followed by strong swirling winds, a hailstorm and heavy rain. What is the worst weather you recall at one of city's games? Incidentally Alan Young saying on R.L. that the match was in danger of being called off due to the advertising boarding blowing onto the pitch. Must say I would have thought these would have been fixed down better.
  19. That last stop has left us rather dirty especially since we had a smash and grab. I think a good clean up is needed. Any volunteers?

  21. Missed it tonight. I assume it was all doom and gloom, sack the manager stuff. Anyone care to fill us in if you heard it?
  22. Why has the bus stopped moving? Take the wheels off and let's get the snow ski's on.
  23. Ah, those were the days, within touching distance of the pitch, standing on the terrace in the Kop and swaying with the crowd. Then we had seating installed! At least the seats were closer together, your knees would be up against your chest, everyone would stand up if the game got exciting. (why doesn't that happen now?) Best memory, seeing Andy Peake score against Liverpool way back in the annals of time. (Amongst other memorable goals) Ok. I mean he was just inside their half, it became goal of the season on MOTD. Worst memory, sitting in the kop on a freezing cold winters night watching us play some god forsaken non league team in the FA Cup. We were playing absolute crap, no one sitting anywhere near me. Ended up with my feet up sprawled along three seats watching a boring crap game and freezing to death. Game ended in a draw. Was that bad can't even remember who we played or final score. Ooh, we won the replay!!!!
