Good luck to him. Taught Vardy a lot, how to chase down players and get them to panic, when to take a shot on goal etc.. They became good friends, in fact wasn't he the best man at Vardy's wedding. One of my favourite players at that time.

We really are crap at corners

I don't care if the national newspapers, Sky or any other football pundits don'y mention us. Every day you look at the back page or see Sky sports news and hear nothing but Manchester .............., Liverpool, Chelsea or their beloved Spurs touted in one way or another. We win and go top of the league, barely a mention. Good, lets hope it stays that way, it keeps pressure of the team. Let us simply go about our job quietly in the background, until it's too late for anyone to realise what a threat we are.

I remember when fans thought that Matty Fryatt was god's gift, Vardy is! In all the yearsI have watched us (over 50) Vardy is without doubt one of the finest strikers I have ever seen. Like for like he is irreplaceable.

Suspect nothing will be announced until start of next season. If we make CL then we will earn a nice bit to help toward the cost.

I hate it when Stringer says (names opposition player) has never scored against Leicester or (opposition player) has not scored in x amount of games and looks unlikely to now. Then what happens? You've guessed opposition player duly scores! The times the commentators seem to curse us with comments like this. STOP IT!

Yet again Shmeichel gets beaten from distance.

Who remembers our pitch cover? If I recall correctly a company based in Heather manufactured these. https://www.facebook.com/100865096953196/posts/1259507531088941/

Is it worth us winning corners or free kicks? Many a time this season we seem to waste any advantage we may have in being awarded one! Can't remember the last time we scored from a corner. It's usually taken and ends up near the near post where it is headed away by the opposition. Do we not practice these on the training ground? I could say the same about free kicks, it;s not very often we seem to score from them.

C'mon all of you get real. Remember we are Leicester City. We nearly always lose to the teams that are at the bottom of the league. Those of you expecting any different have not supported us long enough!

It’s November 2020 - Will we see fans in stadiums this season?
demon_dog replied to Monk's topic in Leicester City Forum
Can't see it happening this season. Not sure if we start next season allowing fans in either. Until we get a vaccine that works and majority of the population have had it, then I feel that social distancing will remain. -
By legends I take it you mean people that fans will never forget. Apart from all those already mentioned how about Peter (haven't a clue) Taylor and David Pleat. Both remembered for all the wrong reasons!

Why City?? What keeps you interested??

Joy! Watching the Taylor era you poor soul! -
No thanks, I'll probably listen to it on the radio and then watch MOTD. Sod the money grabbing bar stewards.

It's in my blood! My Grandfather had a trial with the City over a hundred years ago, my father took me to see them when I was young. I'm now 67 and my sons are city fans. One of my granddaughters is now also a keen city fan, she's 8. Long may it continue. -
It's patently obvious that fans outside of the so called big six are outraged at this idea. ( I haven't checked their forums). It's the usual sounds good on paper until you study the reality of it. It's Hans Christian Anderson stuff. For instance we'll cap away fans price to £20, in reality, we'll put up home ticket prices by £10. Play off, the 3,4,5, placed teams in the Championship play the 16 placed team in the Premiership. Odds clearly favour the PL team. The other clubs must do as we say, while we get richer with your help. It's a pity fans aren't allowed into the stadiums, the so called big six would soon be aware of the anger this proposal has caused.

Leicester City vs Burnley - Pre Match Thread
demon_dog replied to 420Hashish's topic in Leicester City Forum
Hold on we're on telly, we usually play crap when this happens. I say a 2-1 nervy city win. -
Hopefully a good signing, looks good, however seen it all before! Big fanfare and hype from the fans, next thing you know they're calling them useless! I'll reserve judgement, my glass is always half full.

He's now under the pecking order so expect him to want to move on to pastures new.

It shouldn't be to long before relocation to the new training ground takes place. Just a thought, have we sold the old training ground yet? This must be worth quite a sum as building land. Not mega bucks I know but still nevertheless, brings more money into the coffers. Should buy us all a few beers.

You've p*ssed on my seat, you've p*ssed on my team, so I'm going to p*ss you off.

According to the mockery he's wanted by the Spuds

I'm a pensioner, I should socially distance due to health concerns. To charge £70 just to ensure I retain my season ticket is nothing short of scandalous. I can see a great many of ST holders not bothering this season. This means that in all probability the 21/22 season will see many more season tickets available. If your an existing ST holder and don't renew then good luck for the following season in getting a ticket! For members wishing to purchase an ST for 21/22 the chances will be much improved. We are basically being shafted one way or the other. Will I renew...... Yes reluctantly because I wish to retain my ST. I'm sure they could have come up with a much better scheme though.

Do you not go into Morrisons? The most reliable source can always be found there. 🤪
